RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Annnnd the push back is starting…!
It went from « between 6/28 and 7/04 » to « 6/29 and 7/05 ». July 05th is Sunday, so I bet it will be even more pushed back…
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
While to us it looks like pushback, it is more likely their bad estimation algorithm combined with whatever rate they are shipping out at.
Basically you're at the far end of the progress bar with "3 days remaining" (think 99%) and "stuck".
The way this looks is incredibly infuriating. I also went through this.
On the plus side what can be safely said is: There are not many kits ahead of yours in the shipping queue and yours will go out very soon.
Unfortunately the date indicated is essentially useless.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Apparently, no one trusts Prusa anymore. Which isn’t surprising. This isn’t the first time they’ve completely failed with their product deliveries. Customers are returning the favor by flooding their support with complaints. I see they’ve already released an update to the “IMPORTANT SHIPPING UPDATE.” Seems like Prusa can’t get away with feeding customers nonsense just like that :). Well, they’ve earned it.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Let me break up the topic with some good news. I removed the Buddy3D Camera from my main order and placed it as a separate order today. It’s already showing as “in progress” status. So, if you ordered the kit and the camera together, the camera won’t be a stopper for now 🙂
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

That part makes sense.
[...] and yours will go out very soon.
What makes you believe that? Prusa can't be several 100% off on their estimates of short-term manufacturing capacity (on a timescale of days!). Something else must be wrong with their production or material supply. But hope springs eternal...
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Another day, another push back by 1 day.
I talked to the support, and he can’t deny they are struggling during this period of the year.
I’m losing patience a little I can’t lie.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
What makes you believe that?
It's simple math really and flows from the previous statement. No hope involved.
If there is a low number of items in the queue ahead, and the queue is moving and not completely stalled, then the item will reach the head of the queue and get processed "very soon" aka in finite time. There is clear evidence that the production queues are moving and for this it doesn't matter if their sped aligns with anyones estimates. Also note how "very soon" is not an absolute measure of time.
At this point the guesstimate, as said previously, is not a time indicator, but a rough indicator of the relative position in the production queue.
If you look at it that way it becomes more useful.
All that said, it should be blindingly obvious that I'm not defending Prusa, just trying to contextualize things based on the clearly observable behavior of the "system" in its current incarnation (when they switched to the guess-o-meter early in June). They clearly need to overhaul that thing, because it creates completely wrong expectations with customers.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
[...]"very soon" aka in finite time.
If that's your definition of "very soon", then yes, Prusa will ship very soon. 😎
Also known as "at some point".
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Short update on my delivery.
3 of 4 parcels arrived yesterday, including the printer kit and the filtration kit. Most stuff is at home, only one parcel with filament is still on the way.
Now I only need time for builing it!
@all the waiting builders: it is worth waiting, the feeling when you finally get it is great!!!
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List - Expected to ship frustration ...
Hi, Im currently waiting on an order of the Kit placed and paid for 16 weeks ago, and I really am very excited to get started on this new (for me) adventure, I was really happy when they moved from the batch number to an Expected to ship between format, but over the last few days this has been updated on a daily basis, in effect my order now looks like this whatever day I look at it ...
Expected to ship between "todays date minus 3 days" and "todays date plus three days"
So yesterday it was: Expected to ship between 29/06/2025 and 05/07/2025, today it is: Expected to ship between 30/06/2025 and and 06/07/2025, it's feeling like a basic 3 day Zeno's Dichotomy Paradox ... tomorrow I will be one day nearer, but oh no the expected ship window will have moved on a day ... I realise that I will get an email when it is shipped, but it would also be nice to be told when the expected shipping dates get updated, the cynic in me feels like this is just a macro ... and worst of all is a macro that updates with an impossible start date of the window ... at least change it to
Expected to ship between "today's date" and "today's date plus X days"
It's such a shame that this is starting to frustrate me, and make me question the integrity of these expected shiping dates ... Prusa's reputation comes over as being much better than this ... I am going on holday in 39 days, and in my reality, tomorrow that will be 38 days, then 37 etc. fortunately that is sticking to the normal convention of how time works ... I'm starting to panic that its going to arrive when I am away ...
I would love it if Prusa would email me if they change the expected shipping dates as 1, I would hope they wouldn't refer to the past and 2, I would feel that OK something is causing a delay, I can deal with that if I'm informed, rather than just seeing a macro being run every day updating the time window.
Sorry fir the small rant ...

How are you getting the option to edit your order on the order screen?

I don’t know, it always has been here. It’s a CORE One kit without any camera or filter.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
I used to have that link to edit the order, I had to get support to add something to mine, perhaps when the ‘edit order’ button disappears it’s an indicator that you are closer to the end of the queue? Or is it that an item in the your order wasn’t yet available, so the order wasn’t complete? Hoping it’s the former to give me some hope!
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
My order (from 3/21/2025) with Kit + Camera just got shipped, yay!
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
If I recall correctly, the option to edit my order from that page disappeared back in early May for me when there appeared to be a wave of cancellations. A very underhanded tactic i might add.

While not as easy as having an edit button, it’s still pretty painless and quick to cancel or change an order through chat support. It being ordering and not tech support you’ll need, it’s usually quick to get someone.
I believe the removal of the edit button happened around the time they acknowledged there was a number of older orders, which had filters and/or cameras included, that were essentially in limbo. At the time they noted those orders would be handled separately. I believe someone on this thread noted the edit button going around that time.
My order maintained the edit through April, May and June, so def not all orders.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
ive just orderd mine today so hopefull i will get it this year butt right now its a leadtime of 3-4 weeks but when i see here that some people had to wait for 3-4 months i get doubts for spending so much money ...... but when its here i know it will be worth it ..
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
3-4 months was due to preorders and a good number of orders backed up due to add-ons that were/are out of stock. idk what the exact time table is now but i doubt you will be waiting 3-4 months. however, i also wouldnt count on the total time being 4 weeks max.
from what ive seen on this thread so far, if you have add-ons, it would be best to remove them from your core one order and put them in a separate order.
for context/reference, i was one of the ones who preordered back in march, core one kits officially shipped in april, and i received mine just around the start of june with an original estimate of late june.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
I’ll second that, remove any add ons and just have one order with the printer and make a second with the accessories. You don’t really save any money on the delivery cost as the more you have in an order the higher the estimate goes up.
