RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
I just finished my build and now printing my first few test parts.
I have to say that I am impressed with the build quality of this printer - apart from a few little parts.
But I am not impressed with the G-Code files on the USB Stick. The Benchy prints fast but lacks quality and there is a lot of stringing. It is clear to me that Prusa was anxious to beat BambuLabs in print speed. Printing PLA at 235 C results in oozing like me at 80 years old trying to eat soup without drooling and this is on a Prusa printer with G-Code provided by Prusa and filament provided by Prusa ... Not impressed is an understatement ...
After two benchies the printer broke down. A red screen with an error message telling me there is a problem with the homing sequence and I had to readjust belt tensioning to get this fixed.
As much as I love the two Prusa XL printers we have, these print all day long without any problems, this printer is not giving me the Prusa quality experience I expected.
When you start building, do read the comments that a lot of builders wrote. These comments include valuable additions and I would at least have had doubt in my own building skills if I had not read some of the comments.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Ok, for the first time the estimate hasn't moved in over 24hrs... I'm crossing every digit and limb that the production/supply chain has stabilized. Or else they've been reviewing the forums and realized the almost hourly changes in the estimate is pissing people off and have reduced the pull rate/update frequency on whatever algorithm is behind the estimate to hide it 🤣
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
My date has moved by one day (Yay! More waiting!!!) and I am in the 17th+ window again. Guess I am at the production edge between monday and tuesday. Or something completely random.
Well, another weekend without a sign and another week to go full of guessing dates and head scratching. I will miss this thread, once DHL will ring at my doorstep …
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
For me it went from 17th to 20th again…
RE:
Sorry, I clearly spoke too soon! Currently 22nd-28th myself
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Annoyed... Original ship date was June 18.... Now it's July 10. And it keeps changing every other day up/down.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Mine is now between June 20th and 26th … Jumped to this on weekend so I hope it might jump back at the start of this week.
We will see. Have a nice start!
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Well... I've just cancelled my orders.
I had over 1900€ invested, in between the two unfulfilled orders.
I am now thinking of ordering a QIDI Plus4, which if ordered today, I'll receive on Friday (20/06).
I grew tired of this situation, but I do truly wish the best of luck for everyone still waiting for their orders.
Cheers.
P.S.- If anyone currently living in the Netherlands is interested in getting a Buddy3D camera, a GPIO hackerboard and an accelerometer set for the core one, for 90€ flat with shipping already included, feel free to drop me a private message. No price haggling.

I can relate. It’s a real pain waiting so long and not being able to see when the cue ends.
I have the strong believe that my order will be leaving Prague within the next two weeks so I don’t see the point in canceling my Order after ten weeks. Prusa was, in my view, absolutely transparent and never stated to me that there was no waiting cue. Shipping within 12 weeks and I was/am fine with it.
Hope you will be happy with your Qidi. 🙂

Today, my order has been delayed yet another day. I understand there must be a reason for this, but unfortunately, no explanation has been provided to us. This lack of communication leaves me with the impression that the company simply wants to keep my money, pushing the delivery date so close to the limit that canceling becomes a hassle.
I was genuinely excited about purchasing the kit, especially since I currently don’t have a 3D printer, and the opportunity to build and upgrade it was a major factor for me. For me, the appeal is not just about the prints, but also about the printer itself and the experience it offers. Aside from the Voron—which is in a completely different category—I don’t see anything else on the market quite like the Prusa concept, at least as far as I know.
However, this ongoing situation has left me exhausted. I’m seriously considering canceling my orders. I will spend this evening researching alternatives. If I find a suitable option, I will proceed to cancel both of my orders.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Not thinking about canceling my order here, but a continued feeling of disappointment.
Today my estimate of course was bumped back by another day: 22.–28. June
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Those dates are not set in stone - it could still come earlier!
Prep and check out my build videos in the meantime!
RE:
I’ve been seeing my date just move back and forth between the 22-28 and 23-29 for a few days now. Up until recently it was swinging daily much more drastically, so I’m quietly confident things are stabilising in production giving a more accurate estimate (possibly being too optimistic 😂). I had started thinking of cancelling a couple weeks back but when I went and looked at the other options I just went back to the same conclusion that this printer suits my needs better plus I get a project in the build that I’ve really been looking forward to! Just wish the wait wasn’t so long!
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Yeah, the printer will arrive when it does. I've found some value in sharing movements in estimates and such here, as it sometimes helps to understand to a small degree what is generally happening while we don't get updates. Like someone recently managed to convince support to divulge that there were some sort of supply chain issues with the printer itself at that point in time.
Also, I devoured Ifti's great set of videos on the first day they came out, will watch them again once I have a kit in front of me.
Funny enough the estimate for my order just moved into the past/present, maybe something moved, or the system just decided that a few printers getting packed after two days of weekend where nothing happened means progress… It's now 14.-20.
My strategic spicy popcorn reserves are very well stocked and there's no risk of running out any time soon. 😆
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Looks like Prusa has 'fixed' my always-3-days-in-the-future estimate by completely removing it! It is progress, in the sense that there's less faulty info on the order page...

I had that happen for my separate order with the buddy cam and filter unit. It moved to shipped a couple days later. Fingers crossed for you!
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Yay! My order (C1 kit with a bunch of simplier add ons) just switched to „In progress“!!!
I hope it gets shipped today. Stay tuned!
