RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Ordered February 24th and that's Batch 8 (estimated May 30th).
I ordered 3 weeks late, because i wanted to sell my MK4 first, before i pull the trigger... long time with no printer, but at least a date.
So now i can calm down a bit... ^^
RE:
I placed my order on 31Jan2025 at approximately 2227 (UTC) and was assigned to batch 3 with shipping starting 25Apr2025.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Hi, I don't think it's fair to debate whether a customer's dissatisfaction with their purchasing experience is valid or not. Everyone has their own expectations. It's important for Prusa to understand that there are loyal customers, or those with more patience, or in a position to better manage the purchase process—and then there are customers who felt somewhat misled or simply didn't think the experience was up to par.
I buy all sorts of things online and often back crowdfunding campaigns, sometimes waiting years for a product. In this case, I believe Prusa has really mishandled the purchasing experience for those who ordered the Kit. It's unacceptable to send out a shipping update today claiming that shipping started yesterday. It's unacceptable that Prusa was unable to communicate an estimated shipping date beforehand—that's not how a serious company operates, or at least not a company that has control over its supply chain, production, and logistics.
I'm not getting paid by anyone to be dissatisfied. I wanted a Prusa, I bought one, I paid for it—and if I'm not happy, maybe it's because Prusa didn't manage expectations properly, not just because I'm being difficult. I buy from many companies, and I have to say, if I'm taking valuable time to complain, it's because the level of dissatisfaction caused by Prusa is very high for me, and it doesn't match what I've experienced with other companies that do a better job.
Prusa needs to know that there are companies out there doing better, if it wants to compete seriously. It can't just listen to its fans or to those who are more forgiving or patient for their own reasons. If you want to be a leader in your industry, you have to compare yourself to other leading companies—and deal with the most demanding customers, not just the easygoing ones.
I don't think that statement is fair. The conditions for pre-orders and advance payments were known from the start. And complaining now when you are in batch 2 is also not correct. That's not prusa's fault either.
Also just got my confirmation. Ordered 21min late and I‘m in batch 2. So the day before eastern they are starting with batch 2 to ship. So Prusa like fashion probably more like first week of May. This means Prusa is working 3 full month with my money. Quite frankly I‘m not happy about it and in this timeframe I could have gotten the new Bambu printer, which released staggering 4,5 month later than the core one.
So yeah, my wife was hoping to give the printer to me for eastern and hide every single assembly bag in the garden, this dream is also over. So from shipping in March when ordering, to probably ship in May as Prusa can clearly not be trusted with giving shipping information.

Feb 15 order date, batch 7 shipping May 26 (so probably at least mid-late June). Guess I can stop watching the forums for a while... lol... got plenty of time to figure out where to store all of the accessories and filament I purchased separately.

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
I asked support, but couldn't fully understand why ordering an assembled version now, will arrive before the KIT one I ordered a few weeks ago. I understand they are not the same, but I can't understand why one month and a half later for the KIT

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
I ordered the conversion kit at 16:35 on the first day. I’ve recently switched that to a full kit, and even though customer support confirmed this, it’s reassuring to see that I didn’t lose my place in the queue. Now confirmed as batch 1.
On the day, during all the frantic page refreshing and attempted ordering, I had the impression that the full kits became available for pre-order a short time before the conversion kits, so I’m kicking myself that I didn’t try for the full kit from the outset. No matter though - it should still ship some time in the next couple of weeks.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
It didn't start until 17:00. You mean 17:35?

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
17:35 Czech time, 16:35 GMT, which is what the epoch converter shows me.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Interesting, because someone here said it was batch 2 when ordering at 17:21.
It was probably 18:21 then.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Mine's not due until late May.
I'm not too upset even though I'd rather it be in March. By the time I get mine a lot of you will have yours up and running so I can filter through the threads and hopefully pick up on all the helpful information and any pitfalls ref building the Core1.
Also nice to have a date, I'm off to Mexico in a few weeks and I was dreading them trying to deliver it to an empty house and then returning it to sender 🫣
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
That makes sense. We need a standard for reporting here! GMT or Czech time?
RE:
Ok, Shipping from batch One. Ordered at 31.1. the Mail for Order confirmation was 17:18 received. The Order was done on 17:10 or so.
now im waiting WhatsApp Happening next. Mayen a shipment number.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
IMO GMT (or UTC) is better for that purpose, less confusing especially for people who have different clock.
