The Core One Kit Waiting List

I ordered a kit on Friday, and the wait has begun.  Did you order a kit, and why did you choose it?

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

I've also ordered a kit, but might cancel it before it ships . . .  I thought about ordering the "upgrade" kit, however since I have an MK4 with enclosure, the enclosure is "left over" with the upgrade.  I'm hoping to sell the MK4 and enclosure (or just the enclosure and buy the upgrade kit?).

Anyone looking to buy an MK4 with enclosure in central US (i.e. Iowa)?  🙂

I just ordered five minutes ago. I had my first 3D printer (Creality CR-6 SE) somewhat over a year ago and it's been a nice intro into 3D printing but the speed puts me off. Now the wait for the kit has begun as Chuck said. Looking forward to build the kit and having an enclosed core one!

Ordered one Core One KIT. Luckily, i was able to get it at 17:09 (website was up around 17:07), so i do hope it comes soon(ish).

Currently i have an MK4S+MMU3+OPE and it's working, but lately i'm printing more single color PC,ASA and I can barely make 35°C in the enclosure in the winter times.

Once the MMU3 support is ready for the Core One, i'll sell my MK4S with the enclosure and buy another Core One KIT.

Bought a kit, because I'm a tight wad and it was cheaper 😅

But mostly because I want to know how it all goes together and to be able to fix it when the times comes, or when the eventual upgrades come along.

I may have bitten off more than I can chew as I have not researched how involved the build is, but I'm cool with that as I'm in no rush to have a functional printer 😊

3D Jake will have the Prusa Core One kit in stock from March 25.
I completed my order on 30.1 at 17:10.
So I should be one of the first 😆

... or so they claim. 😉  Since Prusa still shows "Shipping starts: to be announced" for orders placed directly with them, I am not sure I trust 3DJake's promise. Have you been in touch with them to ask whether the date is real?

Would be a nice way to beat the crowds, since they promise to have it delivered by March 27th...

I did not ask. Incidentally, the conversion kit will be available from June 07.

I think it's a realistic estimate that it won't be available until the end of March at the earliest.  Anything else would surprise me at Prusa 😉

Ordered one during the release chaos, i specifically waited for the kit. Its both fun to build and cheaper, and the first firmware update with fixes will probably be out by then. My kids would be mad at me if i bought an already built printer, they loved building the last mk3s kit with me 🙂

I also ordered on Friday directly at 5 pm.

Actually wanted to buy the upgrade kit from MK4S to Core One.

But that comes 1 month later so it was clear then I probably have to buy the kit 😉

Just hope it doesn't start on 03/31

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

Unfortunately, I didn't order a kit until February 7th, 2025. I found out about core one way too late. I've always wanted to build a Prusa printer myself, but since I print a lot with ABS and ASA, it hasn't been an option until now. I've had a Zortrax M200 Plus for 6 years now and was very satisfied, but now it's time for something new and faster. I'm excited and really looking forward to the core one. 🤩

I ordered my 'MK4S to CORE One'  kit in PRUSA shop on 30.1 at 17:02.... 😉 so may be I am the first in the PRUSA shipping priority list.
However today I changed my mind, and cancelled the upgrade kit from my order, and I replaced it with a full CORE One kit.
I decided that I want to keep my fully working MK4S (that never had a single issue) as it is now.

It will stay as it is in my fleet, together with the V400 and the MK3.5 REVO/MMU3. When a new MMU4 or 'MMU One' specific model will be available, I will get it only for the CORE One.

Kind Regards

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

I originally wanted to convert the MK4S as well.
Now it's staying with me as an MMU3 printer. Everything works perfectly, so why install the MMU3 on the Core One.

I already have the standard Prusa solution for the Core One on the MK4S.
The new solution for the Core One, which is still under development, also costs a few bucks.
I might as well keep my MK4S for that.

I'll be creating a video build guide - but it will take a while to create and edit I'm afraid, so won't be up straight away.....

Sounds awesome. I've been watching and learning from a few of your videos of late as it's my first foray into 3D printing, so I'll keep an eye out for the upload ☺️

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

Try watching the MK4s Nextruder section of the build, as the Core One will have a very similar process (other then the cooling fan that sits in a different position).

It really isn't very difficult - it's more important to take your time, and make sure you pay attention to detail..... ;o)

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

I ordered a Core One kit on 31Jan, shipping to Germany. I prefer to assemble machines myself and the cost savings is nice too. Looking forward to seeing that tracking number instead of a blank.
