RE: Should I down load 6.4.0

I have been blissfully unaware of any comments, and not noticed any issues either *shrugs

But that might be dependent on what it is I print compared to others. There are so many variables. FWIW I noticed no issues with the release-candidate versions either.

Cheers

If you have an XL, probably best to hold off. Otherwise, go for it. I've been running it my Core One for 2 months.

boolean load_new_firmware(string printer) {
      return printer != "XL";
}

Some people report issues with nozzle cleaning on XLs running 6.4,, but I haven't had any problems.
I've been doing multi-nozzle prints for a few days with no problems.

I have a 5T XL currently config'd with 3x .4mm HF Obxidian, 1x .4mm HF, and 1x .6mmHF Obxidian.
Printing PETG and PLA and a mix of both.

I've run a handful of prints over the weekend since installing 6.4, and so far so it's only improvement. The homing has been consistent and successful every time, and printing has been appropriately uneventful, with everything going smoothly.  I've printed the + parts and installed all but the automatic vent parts.  I don't see any reason to wait for the Core One.  I can't speak to the others, as I only have the one.

Still trying to work out why it's only me with the toolhead hitting the x limit when cancelling a print.

Same here, no issues on my Core Ones. The same for my XL, which is good after the RC experience.

There is something wrong in the cancellation logic for the core one (the extruder does some ghost traveling after canceling objects) that can lead to ruined prints in some cases (or just being weird and wasting time in others), so it is not surprising that something weird happens on the XL as well...

I opened a bug report on this last week: [BUG] 6.4.0-RC2 Print head randomly moves over canceled object
