RE: Shipping dates
ok, but how do I interpret "shipping starts: 5" then? The wording doesn't really fit to the logic
RE: Shipping dates
or the other way around? Which of both of the statement is more "correct"?
RE: Shipping dates
I would guess it equates to the shipping table meaning the 5th bracket "from week 8 (starts February 17, 2025"
RE: Shipping dates
not really, a friend of mine has "5" and ordered mid January, so I wouldn't think it relates to the rows of the table
RE: Shipping dates
I'm not sure then, has anyone contacted Prusa chat to ask what it means?
RE: Shipping dates
Well, would be cool if someone asked. Although I like the support team pretty much I am too tired to bother them atm
RE: Shipping dates
5 starts March 3rd. Simply look at the shipping table = batch number from top to bottom: each batch has the same start date, e.g. batch one started January 31th and so forth.
RE: Shipping dates
According to this logic this would mean everything from order date 11/23 to minimum 01/13 is batch 5 then. Plus mine, batch 5 is shipping starts. I have questions 😉
RE: Shipping dates
Here‘s the logic:
from 31.1.2025 = batch 1
from week 7 = batch 2
from week 8 = batch 3 (also me 😌)
from week 9 = batch 4
from week 10 = batch 5
… to be continued … it’s easy, isn’t it?
according to your order date you find the column of the week when shipping is planned - and the batch number which you find in your order information is according to above logic 🤷🏻♂️
let me know if I’m wrong 😑
RE: Shipping dates
OK mine was updated and now shows "Shipping Starts: 2" (I ordered 11/19 but I guess later in the day?)
RE: Shipping dates
ok, my ersonal optimistic view of my life has just changed. Original order was second day and I got promised it wouldn't have much of an impact on my order to include a second printer into the order. I probably could get a kit earlier than this

Looks like they bumped you back to the production batch for the later date when you added the second printer? I think you should contact customer support and ask them to fix this. Giving you an early slot for the first printer, then the later one for the second unit seems like the fair thing to do. (But would mean two separate shipments and potentially higher shipping cost.)
RE: Shipping dates
I think there's a lot of confusion!
Batch is not week...
RE: Shipping dates
I hesitatetd to bother them more than they deserve, I know the game. But in this case I got a corrected date now. If that sticks I am fine. Was probably just a glitch in their system
RE: Shipping dates
I have tried to figure out shipping from Prusa for years. I would not rack your brain. I looked at end destination and what was ordered. I used an online spreadsheet. There has to be a variable we do not know - like the days DHL and FEDEX pick up packages.

RE: Shipping dates
The shipping information at https://help.prusa3d.com/article/shipping-information_2297 has just been updated. The table for the Core One is now an official "decoder" that translates batch numbers into shipping weeks -- but it no longer mentions to which order dates the batches correspond.
The shipping dates stretch out pretty much to the end of March. I sure hope that this is gated by Prusa's capacity to do assembly work, not by materials supply -- such that the first Core One kits can already go out before all of the assembled units have been shipped...
RE: Shipping dates
Coming from a Mini+, the Core One is going to be a nice upgrade. I ordered the kit on 31Jan and it says order group 1. I typically avoid ordering the first batch of anything like this, but I'm printing more and more lately and could really use the larger print volume and speed. I'm temped to order the MMU3 upgrade kit for the Mk4S assuming this will also be compatible with the Core One, but perhaps it's best to wait for now. Any thoughts on this?

RE: Shipping dates
The MMU3 is likely to be largely compatible, I'd assume -- but there will be extra parts (for mounting and covering it on the Core One), and there may be new parts which render some of the current MMU3 parts obsolete (e.g. a nicer, more compact spool and buffer arrangement).
I trust that Prusa will offer a "MK4 MMU3 to Core One MMU upgrade kit", but you will end up spending extra money over buying an MMU tailored to the Core One right away. And you may not even be able to use the MMU3 on the Core One until the right mounting solution is available. So I would wait.
RE: Shipping dates
Sounds like a good plan- thanks for the advice
