Update on Shipping Dates
So, a quick recap: the assembled version of the Prusa CORE One will start shipping by the end of January (next week). In the announcement article, we gave an estimation on the availability of the Assembly Kit and the Conversion Kit and I’m happy to say that we are on the right track to meet the projected timeframe, with only a small difference – we will swap the order of kit releases.
The Prusa CORE One Assembly Kit is now scheduled for March 2025 and the Conversion Kit (MK4S->CORE One) will follow in April. If you still have the original MK4 3D printer, we will also offer a bundle that will contain both the MK4S upgrade and the CORE One Conversion Kit – it’s necessary to have the “S” upgrade parts as they are used during the assembly of the CORE One.
We’re planning to enable orders of both the Assembly Kit and Conversion Kit once the assembled version starts shipping, and we will announce it 24 hours before it happens on our social media channels. If you want to receive the notification, you can already set up a watchdog in our store, so you’ll be notified as soon as the orders go live!
RE: Shipping dates
I'm happy to see they are still on track to ship this month. It will be nice to get some real world feedback on their design. I am a bit sad to hear they've swapped the assembly/conversion kit availability, but it makes more sense this way I think. They simply should have planned it that way from the start. I know demand for this printer was always going to be high, so wasn't expecting to see my conversion kit until later anyway. In the meantime, my Mk4S is working fine.

RE: Shipping dates
Today's news was a Total surprise...... a very nice surprise. Ya I just made another "order" for the camera and filtration unit and looking forward to the MMU release and the possible design(s) options they might release. Although I was really looking forward to having the MMU3 with printer on arrival I'll make do. Lol
The all in one MMU3 concept design would REALLY be a design I would love to see as an option.
RE: Shipping dates
You ordered a “few”? Geez, thanks a lot. Now I can’t get one to go with my Core One already on order.

Don't forget to order your Budda cams... now. Otherwise you will wait for them also. Just ordered a few of them, shipping as promised... in theory 😉

He may have multiple CoreONEs on order, or plans on trying to use them in the Prusa official enclosure (the shape of the stamped sheet metal of the enclosure look similar enough to the CoreONE that the Buddy cam might fit).

RE: Shipping dates
That's my plan for the camera, because the original buddy camera looks really bad, like a baby monitor. No thought at all was put into thinking how someone might incorporate it into a printer.
The new one looks like it could work in the old enclosure, or designa new housing for it to make it work.
I'm going to wait until I get the one I ordered for the core one and see if it'll fit, if it will I'll buy more.
RE: Shipping dates
So I bothered Support about this. They haven't beeen updated yet on details but they did send me this https://blog.prusa3d.com/prusa-core-one-january-update-its-just-around-the-corner_108917/?utm_medium=chat&utm_campaign=link-shared-in-chat&utm_source=livechat.com&utm_content=www.prusa3d.com which as of me writing this post is about 7 minutes old. Seems like shipping starts next week (last week in January) based on the blog

RE: Shipping dates
Question for all the current Prusa owners.... I finally ordered my first Prusa and curious do they ship by your order position (date/time) or Location. .... example furthest distance gets priority of first order batch etc.
Hoping they ship orders by your ordered date/time etc as next week we should start seeing some delivery emails going out. 🙏🙏
RE: Shipping dates
My experience (only 1.5 years buying) they ship orders based on order date/time.
RE: Shipping dates
This is the week, anybody gotten your shipping email?
My order (11/21) still links to "up to date shipping information" which is just their standard table without the CORE One even on it.
RE: Shipping dates
Nothing on my end..... yet ! 😬🤦♂️🙏👍

RE: Shipping dates
There is a stream scheduled for the 31st (unboxing). Might be that the ban is lifted then. I guess nothing goes out before... just my guess
RE: Shipping dates
Interesting !
RE: Shipping dates
Well my core one Camera and filter have shipping dates now. 🤔 is it a sign of movement lol
RE: Shipping dates
Mine too including a full production day of PPCF 😉 Now, the question is, what will I do with the cameras in the case the printers arrive months later. Still, fingers crossed, lets see what happens next
RE: Shipping dates
Anyone update their shipping speed? I contacted support and they said it shouldn't kick me out of my spot in the queue, but I figured an extra $30 to get it in 2-3 days instead of the 4-5 was worth it lol. The wait is a killer
RE: Shipping dates
I've waited this long, a bit longer isn't going to hurt me.
Granted, I did order from a local supplier instead of waiting until March... The benefit being I don't have to deal with customs and all that and they've stated it will be here in early February (fingers crossed). It's also nice to deal with a local supplier if something does go wrong. We've got pretty good consumer protection laws here in NZ. It just makes it easier overall, though I've heard great things about Prusa's support.
