Not happy with the feet

Decided to re-arrange my workbench and this is what I was greeted with. I tried everything including magic eraser. It's not coming off. I'm not happy at all. These feet need a serious re-design.

RE: Not happy with the feet

I have mine sitting on a piece of cardboard just larger than the printer, from the box it came in I think. Helps dampen vibrations a little, and makes it easier to move when needed.

Good idea. I might put some felt—pads under the feet

RE:

I made another ones: THESE - with squash balls. Whole printer wobbles a bit when printing, but it's more silent. But, i can't tell if squash balls will leave marks on your desk, though...

I have squashballs under the printer, than a tile with the original Prusa feet and now felt under it, so I can move the printer around

RE: Not happy with the feet

I use the HULA feet on printables with the remixed Core One adapters. Additionally, I have it on an exercise bike mat on top of a sturdy standing desk (the table top and mat dimensions happened to be the same). Beyond the general printer noises, it's been fairly quiet for me. The printer still wobbles horizontally quite a bit, but the wobbling is mostly dissipated before the energy reaches the desk.

For reference, the printer is in the office next to my bedroom. With the office door closed, the bedroom door open, and the bedroom fan turned on to low for general white noise, I can print at the stock speed settings and not hear a thing--maybe a faint wrr periodically but that's it. Under the same conditions, the resonance from the structural 80mm/s speeds can faintly be heard.

I installed the feet during the assembly process so I cannot say how much they help relative to the stock feet, but I think it's worth a try. I have an extra set of hardware (screws, bearings, TPU parts, etc) if you'd like. You will have to print out the remaining printed parts yourself though.
