newest INDX picture
I just received an email newsletter from Prusa ("Save Big on INDX with CORE One+ Kit") and it has a picture of a core one fully indx upgraded.
The top seems to have the ventilation grill in front. It also suggest (or maybe I am just hoping) that the upgrade will come with the "tank turret" cover.
Looking at the way the filament enter the side 4-ways collector I was wondering how to connect my external 4-spools dryer as the ptfe tubes seem to be a continuation of the tubes going into the printer...

I can live without a cover for now. I just want the INDX in my hands. Pretty sure there will be a ton of mods on Printables to adapt a plastic container for the top. I'm seeing a lot of those for the U1.
RE: newest INDX picture
If possible could you attach the picture?
Thanks,
Fred
RE:
I am not sure I get your question. It is attached to my message and I even see it in Hyiger's reply?!?!
If you are trying to get it locally (and you are on a Mac) just right click on it and save it.
If possible could you attach the picture?

Maybe im being thick here (wont be the first time, or the last) but there's no way to print that Turret thing on the C1?
So we can presume that will be provided as part of the kit ?
Its ugly as hell, but as long as its functional for sexy hot poisonous filaments I can live with that, until a better option is available.
RE: newest INDX picture
Logic dictates that an eclosed printer getting an extruder upgrade will also get the new top as part of it! But we will soon know, I guess 😀 Fully agree on the esthetics but if everything works, I guess I could not care much...

The SnapMaker U1 has an optional top for $150 but it's not available yet. So people have figured out how to attach a Ikea plastic bin using 3D printed adapters. Other solutions are 3D printed with Acrylic panels. I expect that even before the INDX is in our hands there will be top mods available on Printables.
I saw glimpses of the tank turret in FormNext videos. Don't like the idea that it is (or appears to be) opaque. I will need to see what is going on.

Same. I rarely print PETG or PLA and only because the kids want a new fidget toy. Otherwise it's lots of PA, PC, PP and ASA. I'm thinking though I might need a second printer specifically for those and an INDX for flexidragons and multi-color Benchys.

That looks like the cover for the MMU3 for the Core One enclosed version. Makes sense to reuse tha, or they worked to make it usable for both to begin with.

That one's a real head turner.
As in, avert your gaze. Quick. Or go blind 😀

Has anyone noticed that the Peusa INDX page says Bondtech will be selling the INDX upgrade in 1Q2026, and the Bondtech page says 2Q2026?
