RE:
The last blog post from BondTech was in September: Good things take time then only a brief update that "You'll be able to pick your t-shirt and nozzle selection soon". Then short YouTube videos from Prusa that imply "We are almost there... but not quite"
I'm getting weirdly impatient. Partly due to the fact that one of the parts for my rocket I'm trying to print is in PC Blend and requires a dissolvable HIPS interface to print it properly. I could in theory do it manually but it requires 172 tool swaps... I'm debating whether to pick up a Snapmaker U1 instead of the INDX and keep my C1 as a HT printer once the HT hot end becomes available.
I certainly expect that the INDX is not going to work out-of-the-box and we will be on here for months discussing work-arounds and fixes.

Bit of a close up of the extruder here, it looks really meaty:
This is a bit of a lazy/nothing update i think. Bondtech had previously shared the name rationale and extender design. A torn down up close of the extender is nice but wouldn’t mind a bit more details that are core one specific.

All of this reads to me like they are still trying to figure out how to get this safely into production. Pretty sure they don't want to get burnt again like they did with the XL rollout.

My guess is they are behind with the firmware and PrusaSlicer integration. There's a lot going on there with managing nozzle-specific calibrations, auto-calibration wizards, different materials per nozzle, different nozzle diameters... Easy to underestimate.
As long as we keep getting weekly hardware "updates" but don't get to see any software previews, I will stick with that hypothesis. 😏

I'm getting tired of seeing the same old problems being brought up by yet another user. It's about time for some new problems! 😉

I have to admit that if it were problem free at the start I’d probably get bored with it.
RE: newest INDX picture
I’m still not problem free with my core one 😂 I have another part in transit that Prusa support sent to solve problems I’ve had since building it. 3rd time lucky! Yet I’m still gearing up for the indx at launch. My wife thinks I’m crazy… I agree with her
RE: newest INDX picture
To note, before anyone jumps to conclusions. The issues weren’t of my own making either. 2 bad steppers and 2 off 90degrees L brackets 😂 QC left the building at Prusa for a small bit during launch

You and Jürgen are starting to sound like the Muppets two old guys on the balcony 😂

You kids, get off my lawn!
Anyway, if everything is perfect then there is nothing to talk about.

I used to be young, optimistic and slightly naïve until I got my Core One... 😎

I think INDX integration will be rolled into the release of Prusaslicer 3.
So untested hardware, released with untested software…I can’t see what could possibly go wrong 😜
Seriously though they did say Q1, we all know that means the end of Q1, so still at least a month out.
My guess is the tool/nozzle choice/pay us now! emails will be send out halfway through March, and they’ll start shipping on the 31st.
… and let’s face it, the few weeks/months are bound to be a bit bumpy, so strap yourselves in!

That's only for "founders edition", so more or less preview edition, while "public" edition is officially expected in Q2, which, according to our experiences means more in Q3. Then, since orders will be counted in thousands, waiting period will be (several) weeks if not months. So, at the end we'll be happy if we'll have our indx this year, to be honest.

I was replying to someone who has ordered a founders edition.

I'm just waiting for my $150 t-shirt.

If they should be running late, Bondtech could always do partial shipments. I'd suggest starting with the T-shirt and the tank turret lids.
