RE: newest INDX picture
Interestingly it also mentions the spool holder being replaced, so maybe they do have a solution for mounting multiple spools to the printer?
I would expect the "four on each side" mounts as shown at FormNext. They can be used either with bare spools or Prusa's new dry boxes, I think.
Personally I will probably not use those mounts, since they take up extra width and block the side view of the print in progress. In my setup I can mount a shelf on the wall just above the printer and plan to place the spools there, in a 4-spool filament dryer.

Good suggestion, was pondering myself about workbench space but also the lost visibility. We will already be losing sight due to the tool heads up front. The spool holders will take the sides. I’d imagine the buddy cam will also now be obstructed too with all the ptfe tube. The cost of the 4 Prusa dry boxes you’ll get close to a decent 4 spool dryer. I think I’ll be shamelessly copying you and putting up a shelf 😂

My shelf is already in place since there is no room in my setup for adding stuff on the sides, the first mod would be moving those entry points to the same side pointing at the shelf.

RE: newest INDX picture
Anyone have any idea of the turret height?
Still in 2 minds about whether I want INDX or not - I'm considering a 4 tool setup - but I have a shelf above my printer already and I wanted to see if the turret would fit.......
RE: newest INDX picture
Assuming it is the same cover as for the MMU, maybe an owner of the enclosed MMU can measure the height?
RE: newest INDX picture
Just measure the picture on the screen:
- height of Core One in picture on my screen: 185 mm
- height of turret on my screen: 40 mm
- actual height of Core One: 555 mm
- projected height of turret: 555 x 40 / 185 = 120 mm
- projected total height: 555 + 120 = 675 mm
Maybe add 10% if you want to be absolutely sure, account for parallax, etc.
(as an aside, I had no idea that the forum software will do the calculations above as soon as you type the "=" sign! Cool...)

I like the Prusa USS dry boxes, but there's no way I'm paying what Prusa charge X 8.... I'll stick with my cereal boxes until some Ali knockoffs appear 😎
