RE: MK4S to Prusa CORE One Conversion kit Waiting list
Is there a way to tell in which batch one is?

According to the official support, not yet. They'll have a better idea within a few day, though.
RE: MK4S to Prusa CORE One Conversion kit Waiting list
Now this is annoying. Why release the table without giving us the key to reading it, i.e. converting order number to batch number. They have that info, but didn’t think they should provide it?
Arrrrgh!
Just like a bunch of engineers to not think through end user needs. (I’m one too, so i know of what I speak 😉
RE: MK4S to Prusa CORE One Conversion kit Waiting list
Might as well, with a list like that, just say, "Oh I see, i'm six rabbits out from four sparrows to being ready for a tortoise on glorp.
RE: MK4S to Prusa CORE One Conversion kit Waiting list
All we can do is be patient. They are probably calculating the time frames. They are shipping three different products that use the same parts. I have to imagine this is complicated.

To an.Extent , there is real money and real time tied up in this business. They are not new to the game.So it should be easy to calculate. How many parts each upgrade kit needs? And how much time that takes. When you get into electronics and sourcing them I can understand that may be a little different. I come back because I feel that I get good value for the product. The best support and lifespan. But guys , every time a new product launches , it's the same ol same ol and the definition of insanity is....
RE: MK4S to Prusa CORE One Conversion kit Waiting list
Calculating the time frames? I am assuming they must have already done that because they provide dates.
Unless they have just said "one batch per week", but they haven't yet calculated how big "one batch" is in terms of #'s of kits? 😶
If they are doing that, that would be pretty cynical because the table has been provided. I am assuming it's based on real data, they just forgot to give us how "batch" relates to order number.
Oh well, it's coming eventually!
RE: MK4S to Prusa CORE One Conversion kit Waiting list
If we extrapolate 31/01 as being in progress (shipping?) and "Shipping has started, the current leadtime for new orders is 11-12 weeks." on the kit page, we get roughly a week of ordering per batch.
(Assuming the ordering rate in the first week was higher, hence the two weeks fulfillment for the first batch).
So ordering on the first week (31/01-06/02) will be shipped between 01/05 to 13/05,
second week (07/02-13/02) to be shipped between 14/05 to 22/05 and so on.
I've placed my order on on first week of march, so won't be expecting it to go to shipping before mid June 🙁
RE: MK4S to Prusa CORE One Conversion kit Waiting list
I apologize I will be more specific. They are calculating where the cutlines for the orders. They did not forget. You will hurt yourself if you try to figure why certain orders go out the door on certain days. Many have tried before you. It has to have something with which shippers pick up on which days.
They know the basic size of the batches and how many printers they can send out the door. It am sure takes time to go back and put the batch number on each order. I have never seen a program that would do that automatically. I have seen delays before with upgrades. Prusa has never provider numbers on upgrades but I suspect the upgrade numbers are high.
Be patient and relax - there is nothing you can do to change the speed of delivery.

RE: MK4S to Prusa CORE One Conversion kit Waiting list
Given the fact that they have already given 11 batches indicates there must have been a lot more conversion kit orders that I expected. Another thing that will likely complicate batch number assignments is other items in the order besides the conversion kit.
Also, it has only been a couple of months. This is nothing compared to how long I had to wait for the XL, that took about 2 years. 😀
RE: MK4S to Prusa CORE One Conversion kit Waiting list
Hello,
Now that there's a mapping between the delivery date and a batch number, I'm wondering if and how a batch number could be translated into an order date. Or how do I know which batch number is assigned to me?
RE: MK4S to Prusa CORE One Conversion kit Waiting list
If you just scroll up in this page you will see that pretty much everyone in this list is waiting for this magical bit of info. As someone else mentioned above, gotta be patient...

That's what I reached out to support about, last night. They said they'll have a better idea of that, in a few days, as they get more things shipped. (I actually promised the support rep, I'd let folks know, here.. since I imagine they're getting asked that question a lot 😉

Once the batch numbers are know, you should be able to see it on your order. Currently it will likely say "Shipping starts: TBA", this should give the batch information once known.
RE: MK4S to Prusa CORE One Conversion kit Waiting list
My order got updated. Now says Shipping starts: 1 May 2025 (Batch 1) instead of Shipping starts: TBA.
I ordered in the first 15 minutes.
RE: MK4S to Prusa CORE One Conversion kit Waiting list
ordered 2/5, in batch 6
RE: MK4S to Prusa CORE One Conversion kit Waiting list
There must a huge number of orders. I am an hour behind you and mine ships 2 weeks later and is on batch 2. The second upgrade kit is in June and was ordered one day latter.
not complaining, but observing.
There it is !

RE: MK4S to Prusa CORE One Conversion kit Waiting list
Woohoo! Batch 2 for me! Though I do have the advanced filtration on my order, so I may get delayed. The advanced filtration isn't listed on the timelines page, so I have non idea how far back it will actually be. The product page says 11-12 week lead time for new orders, but I ordered 3 months ago, soo.... *shrugs*
