I just got bumped back another month. My original order was in November 2024 for a Mk4s with plans to convert from day one. So it’ll be at least 7 months, IF they don’t delay it again. Sh***y way of doing business, IMO.

I don't think they ever said shipping would start at the beginning of April, only "begin in April," and they did begin shipping in April, and many people have been receiving their conversion kits throughout May. Despite the frequency with which your points are repeated, they are simply not true.
I'm happy that you were able to make a decisive choice for yourself . Now that you no longer have a horse in this race, please try to be respectful of our ability to make our own choices. 🙂

Sorry, but that's not true. Yes, it was a pre-order. But they said the conversion kit would start shipping in April. Then it was the end of April. Then it was May, and they said "TBA." Then they said Charge 3 will launch on May 22nd. So, haha, all wrong. Sorry, we're having a system outage. Charge 6 will start shipping on July 21st. I don't have a problem with the pre-order and the price. But enough is enough. Who says Charge 6 really launches on July 21st? But I canceled my order. You'd know that if you'd read my previous posts.

I'd suggest we all reach out to some prominent 3D printer Youtubers and expose this.... I'd love to see several of them cover it.

Batch number change
Don't worry about the shipping table and batch number until they get it corrected.
Here is an example of how messed up it is right now:

OK, but it is again, that Prusa is not able to give us serious information about our orders. Even the support is far away from "being informed". I´m not surprised, that someone will cancel his order. There are more serious sellers on the market. And one notice, I´m long term Prusa fan and customer, since his RepRap I2 printer.

I literally spoke with support just a few min ago and the new batching is correct. I went from 2 to 6. Placed my order in the first hour of pre-orders for the upgrade with new lcd and nothing else. The new shipping date is 6/21/25. I cancelled my 2 orders.

I ordered in the first hours. Upgrade kit, buddycam and filtration system. Was initially batch 1 starting 1st of May. Was clear that it wasn't going to ship due to the accesoires.
Today the order was updated to batch 5, shipping week of 23-06. I'm not waiting on it so I don't really mind. Good to have the update, though.

Their batch system is broken AF right now, IMHO.

Bambulab doesn't give a shit about you printing 3d benchy.
The way Prusa is handling this situation is ridiculous and shows how unprofessional they are.
You should focus on these issues instead of criticizing other players and users. And yes, you can print your secret projects offline even with Bambulab... or you can go back to the Stone Age with the CoreOne, spend 40 bucks on a crappy camera, and wait months to get it — all without spaghetti detection and other features that are now standard on many other printers.
Good luck with Bambu. I am sure you will be happy as long as you don't mind sending your designs to China.
After an hour of sitting in chat waiting at 2 min till my turn, Ivan confirmed that the order I placed within the first hour for a upgrade with new lcd and nothing else was CORRECTLY changed from batch 2 to batch 6 and offered no accommodation or solutions. I have spent thousand of dollars with Prusa, and after being burnt on both the XL order I placed day one and this CoreOne upgrade, I am done with Prusa. I have spend thousands of dollars supporting this company and after 2 back to back disastrous launches and no information, I'm out. I just cancelled 2 orders and will be switching to Bambu. Best luck to the rest of you, maybe someone will be bumped into my spot in July...

If you are printing Benches, you are wasting your printer. I print high powered rocket parts as a side business. I have made thousands. I don't want my designs stolen.

Datapoint. My order of conversion kit (old LCD) and camera from day 1. Until today it has shown batch 1 which was 1st - 13th May. Then this afternoon it got changed to batch 5 - 23.06.25. Half an hour later I got a label created notice.
Prusa system is in meltdown. I hope the shipping notice I just received is real. We shall see...

There are quite a few of us. I have gotten some PMs from others asking how I confirmed my order and they responded back that their orders shipped too.

@cwbullet You are right. I never go to Chinesium Ones. I stay by Prusa. Now i ordered a compled build Prusa Core One from 3djake.de. Its in Stock and in shipping. Now its my 4. Prusa Printer!

Ok, so it seems the batching system and shipping table is complete nonsense right now, as I just got a an email my order has shipped, tracking numbers included. And my order info on the site also says shipped.
So this is a Jan 31st order in the first 14 minutes. Two conversion kits, two camera's and two advanced filters.
I was also changed form batch1 to batch 5 today. Ordered day 1 in the first 14 minutes. This is getting ridiculous.

My batch number nor my date as listed on the order has not changed. Long wait times for new product releases some would say is part of the process, others don't like it at all. I am in the camp of, I don't like it, but I also understand it's all about revenue projections, ebitda, ebitda projects, forecating ect. However, a delay on orders after the long-awaited publishing of the shipping dates, that I would not be very happy with. The mess with the shipping dates and tables just should not be happing with a company the size of Prusa. I am not sure what is going on... but the wait is really starting to ware on me.

I'm fresh off the customer support right now. Ordered at the first of February, initially had batch 4 (May 30'th) as the shipping start date. Got pushed back to July 21'th with batch 6. A little bit annoyed with both the delay and lack of information. Support had absolutely nothing for me.
Lead times for kits are 2-3 weeks, assembled 1-2 weeks. So people buying new printers are a lot more important than people upgrading. Fun.
Lead times for new orders for upgrades are 5-6 weeks. So apparently new orders have a lead time 2-3 weeks LESS than an order placed at the start of February? Lots of fun.
It's just not good enough.

I'm now in a quandary too. I originally ordered the kit for the new LCD, then changed the order to the old LCD when I realised. Now Prusa paperwork says they have shipped the kit for the new LCD.
Who knows what is on the way. I'll just have to deal with it after arrival. How difficult can it be to convert it?
