RE: INDX is coming for CoreOne?

Taking away a bit from the elegance of the INDX solution I know - and would require some mechanics - but I would like at least 12 tools - so think I will do this on my C1-INDX.

See this YouTube video for some of the complications this would introduce...

good lord, 12 tools? It's time consuming enough to load up the 5 tools on my XL, let alone 8 lol. And doing a tool offset calibration on 12 tools.... wow, that would suck lol

Really look forward to finding out how they do end up doing the offset calibration.   Hopefully 12+ tools would only need to be loaded once - and mostly just left loaded - as long as the filament doesn't start going brittle.    Would really like more than that though - as would like multiple nozzle sizes on 12 colours - so working on solution for that too - hopefully without adding any more PTFEs.

yeah I do a lot of tpu printing so leaving filament loaded generally isn't an option. Loading 4 or 5 filaments is a process. I just started a 4 color tpu print this morning. The idea of doing 12.... just sucks haha.

If the ptfe routing is done flexibly  it might be possible to take off the whole tool,PTFE and filament roll and put the whole lot in an air tight container with desiccant etc.
5 colour TPU prints - sounds interesting.

Yeah I know, I'm a glutton for punishment. I still need to get a good profile for this red(polymaker) tpu. it was the first tpu spool I bought years ago when I was first playing with tpu on the MK3S. I may just chuck it. easy button(relatively) tpu printing is Sainsmart tpu. I just didn't have any red for this print.

TPU is what I print with most, so anything that promises better tpu support(like the INDX extruders) is something I'm keen to check out. I just didn't see getting in on the preorder for it until I could see if it had real legs or not.
