Also interesting a Core ONE L with AFU and 8 tools is around the same price as an H2C with the recommended 2 AMS units and 7 nozzles.

That is a great point.  It probably makes it a superior value.

RE:

Now here's the really fundamental "Core One with INDX" question:
On a fully loaded INDX configuration with 8 nozzles -- where is the poor Core One going to do its headbanging for XY homing?  😋

RE: INDX is coming for CoreOne?

Wasn't following the thread for a day. People were earlier asking about nozzle hardening.

During that live stream the Bondtech people said that right now the nozzles that they were showing were nitrided, but there would be different options by the time real orders will be placed by people. At least that's how I remember it.

I'm looking forward to the INDX as I hate the poop-everest producing multi-material options and the MMU3 didn't quite appeal as I'd want to run residue sensitive materials. Thus having a nozzle strictly tied to one material should really work well. I expect to mostly use it for functional prints with different support or separation materials. There are really cool things you can do with TPU and PLA or PETG separation layers like printing bellows (cf. FPF videos).
