I didn't even have a Bondtech account and I managed to create and verify an account, and reserve and pay for a pre-order !
I think they might've just released more stock.So much for letting them iron the kinks out 😂

Same here — it was quite a struggle, but after about 20 minutes I finally got the confirmation! I’ve owned a Core One for just a week now (coming from a Mini+). I waited a long time before making the jump, but for this "upgrade", I was really excited!

Did it ask you if you wanted the 4 or 8 tool package? I never got asked that ?
I'll be happy with either, but I might as well get the whole hog and get 8, and only pay shipping once.

It states that you will be asked later which version you want, when your shipping slot approaches. $150 down payment is the same for either version.

haha, I love the enthusiasm, I remember preordering the 5T XL and only getting it 18 months later lol. I hope bondtech is able to come through with the 4 month estimate for you guys. I also hope that the product is more polished than the XL was initially.

Yeah, unfortunately that probably means we’re talking middle of the year before you get your hands on an INDX kit.

One thing I couldn't spot on the announcement page: Does the INBXX accommodate Prusa's new "universal storage" dryboxes? Or better yet, is it a drybox on its own?

I went through the bondtech slow-site pain to the final order page, but have backed off and have decided to wait until Prusa can ship it.
Unfortunately Bondtech doesn't have a Northern Ireland specific shipping option (like Prusa does), so I'm risking being hit with customs import taxes, when NI is effectively part of EU (which Prusa recognises).

Late as hell finally got thru- interestingly with Safari it was unable to add anything to the cart, going thru the login process with Chrone (still 2-3 minutes to lead each page) allowed me to finally preorder it. At one point looked like there were 900/1200 left, so maybe they reset the count at some point.
I guess the price isn't *too* far from what was suggested earlier. A little more for the toolhead but still the same for the tools and of course $50 for the parts to adapt it to the printer.

I have wifely permission to pre-order, but can't get their account creation to work! Even tried with my gmail address. Won't log in, don't get any account created emails. I mean, probably not a bad thing, but frustrating when the 'spots available' have gone from just under 1200 to 800 or so while I've been trying.

I don't know whether to thank you or curse you 🤣 I had given up then I saw the post and gave it one more go. Cookies were my issue rather than adblocker.

It didn't distinguish on the website, just INDX for Core One. I can't see why it wouldn't physically fit considering the components are the same, really just depends on the software I'd imagine

None of this solves my main problem with the core one currently which is trying to print soft tpu like Ninjaflex or Chinchilla. It's the main reason I'm holding off on upgrading my second MK4S to Core One. Ninjalfex prints ok on MK4S and the XL, but the core one... not so much. I've put the nextruder mods in but I've not gone as far as modifying the filament path etc to so there is less drag. It would be amazing of the bondtech extruders actually printed soft tpu well on top of providing the tool changing.

Lots of promises in the article but if it delivers this much, without the usual Prusa teething period, it'll be welcome.
I'm quietly reserved about being part of the beta testing... I mean pre-ordering group!

It looks like Bondtech has really gotten into the Prusa spirit, with pre-orders, crashing website, and deliveries that will "start in late Q1". 😎 Well, at least they are not taking the full money upfront but just a down-payment. I certainly wish them the best, and a smooth product roll-out in particular!
I have not watched any videos -- was the lid solution for the Core One with INDX on display already?
