RE: INDX is coming for CoreOne?
only 1200 were available...all gone I think 🙁
RE: INDX is coming for CoreOne?
Oh, and has anything been said about the space required for the INDX? Does the Core One retain its full printable area in the Y dimension, or do we have to sacrifice some to leave room for the parked nozzles? Maybe the extra 18 mm of addressable print space in front of the print sheet are just sufficient, but it seems tight.
I think the guy said you'll lose 20 or so mm.
RE: INDX is coming for CoreOne?
Ah well, the 1200 indx sets were sold out in a short time, pity, perhaps next year.
Loving the learning curve!

Personally I am in no rush. I got one of the first Core One kits; being one of the early "explorers" was enjoyable in a way, but also a major time sink. For the INDX I will leave that fun to others.
RE: INDX is coming for CoreOne?
Ah well, I think I'll get my order in asap anyway, even the preorders arent shipping until late Q1 2026, so it gives time for any kinks to be ironed out.
Pleasantly surprised at the price, and looking forward to seeing what it can do in the meantime.

28.5 mm loss, not the end of the world.
RE: INDX is coming for CoreOne?
Yep, they were gone (and the website was crashing) by 0510 EST US. Wow.

RE: INDX is coming for CoreOne?
As someone with a Core One+MMU3, the upgrade price doesn't make sense for me. I'm going to wait till June next year to see if it, at that point, makes sense to sell my C1+MMu3 and buy a C1L+INDX.

You loose 28 mm out of the 220 mm active print area, plus the 18 mm of negative coordinate space in front of that? That seems like a lot.
They can't possibly need 46 mm of active motion into the parking space to make the docking happen -- so it's the passive space requirement, not the required travel range, which eats into the printable area. That would be annoying: With a bit more foresight Prusa could have made the enclosure a couple of cm deeper, while still retaining the upgrade path from the MK4S (unchanged Y rails and heat bed).
RE: INDX is coming for CoreOne?
If you want to get a pre-order try again now, I just got mine confirmed.
I didn't even have a Bondtech account and I managed to create and verify an account, and reserve and pay for a pre-order !
I think they might've just released more stock.
So much for letting them iron the kinks out 😂

I was hoping he meant 28.5 mm total, so only lose about 10mm... Think it was also mentioned that the one they were showing was higher up on the rail than the final version. So I wonder how much height will be lost / gained compared to the Nextruder.
I'm guessing there'll be YouTube reviews / previews galore before long now. Hopefully to answer all the questions in time for me to give Prusa/Bondtech my money not too late next year!

They never went into detail, the question came up on 3d Musketeers YouTube stream , and the CEO said 28.5mm.

Can‘t find it in their shop 🙁

Or taking more orders for non-stock? 😉 Which I assume was the case for the original 1200 already.
RE: INDX is coming for CoreOne?
Link just seems to bounce to the indx landing page for me. Oh well, my wallet is probably happier for it

Here’s the pre-order link: https://www.bondtech.se/indx-by-bondtech/pre-order/
Same here — it was quite a struggle, but after about 20 minutes I finally got the confirmation! I’ve owned a Core One for just a week now (coming from a Mini+). I waited a long time before making the jump, but for this "upgrade", I was really excited!
EDIT: Important, you should log in the first place !
RE: INDX is coming for CoreOne?
Yeah maybe. They've got months to figure it out though, they wont even start shipping the pre-orders until late Q1 next year. Maybe they underestimated the demand.
One other thing that stood out they mentioned filament flow rate through the INDX nozzles was , and I think I heard correctly, 40 something mm cubed/s....thats a massive speed increase right there. I thought I misheard but Grant from 3d Musketeers was visibly shocked when the Bondtech guy said it.
RE: INDX is coming for CoreOne?
I'm going to wait and see. I have a 5T XL and it works fine. It would be nice to have another machine that can do multi-filament prints, but I don't do them that often to be honest. Hopefully prusa and bondtech can pull this off.
