How do I change the filament properly during an interrupted print
Dear users. I have a question. Core one. I have a new printer, I only printed a few things. I ran out of filament. There was about 20cm left in the tube. The printer reported a filament sensor error, I disabled it. How do I change the filament properly during an interrupted print? Do I need to eject it? Because I changed the filament and the printer started pulling the last 20cm. So I gently pushed the new filament until the printer started moving it automatically. Is that correct? Thank you

Aky sposobom vymenit filament dobre počas prerušenej tlače? Treba ho dat vysunuť? Lebo dal som vymenu filamentu a tlačiaren začala tahat poslednych 20cm. Tak som jemne tlačil filament novy až pokial ho tlačiaren začala posuvat automaticky. Je to tak spravne? Dakujem

Your method is correct. For future reference, most printers have a "Change Filament" or "Resume Print" option in the menu which automates this process to ensure a cleaner swap.

Hi, the "correct" procedure is to eject and throw away the last bit of every spool and then proceed with loading the new one as usual.
The way you did it caused a gap between the two in the extruder, not advisable but i guess not catastrophic either.
