Filament Skipping
I have other branded filament that works fine on my MK3s+, but on my Core One I get what sounds like gear skipping and no extrusion on my filaments with the exception of the bundled Prusament Galaxy Black, that works great.
Is the Core One more finicky about filament? How can I make the other filaments work as well? What are the important factors in filament I should look for on my next filament purchase?
Thanks so much.

OK so it's basically working.
Nextruders do appear to be a little more sensitive to wet filaments and HF nozzles more so - drying is the first step ...
Then, when a filament fails to start, first open the extruder idler door and check the filament has loaded through to the hotend correctly.
... and if is loading but slipping try adjusting the idler pressure screws (count turns and keep a note until you are used to it)
Cheerio,

Not the most scientific answer, but as having had lots of MK3s I would rather say the Core One is less finicky about filaments. I started to go through all my B-quality 3DO filaments now as they wouldn't really go through either the MK3s nor the Vorons, but they are just fine on the Core Ones. But anyway, get decent filament, cannot hurt.

Yes, that's clearly ChatGPT talking -- can't miss that "chatsplaining" style. And the purpose of the post seems clear enough: link spam in the signature. I have reported the post and hope that the moderators will remove it (and the account) soon.
