Editing an order takes 14 business days?

Hi all.  I edited my order over the weekend to remove the advanced filtration based on what I was reading here on the forum about that part not being ready for shipping yet.  I reached out to support this morning and was informed it would take up to 14 business days to partially refund the order and fully update it.

I guess that somewhat matches what I've seen here on the forum, but I can't understand why that process takes 14 business days.  Anyone have any insight?  I was really hoping my batch 2 order (mk4s -> Core One kit) would still ship on time, but now it seems less likely.

Still no update on the shipping date till today. Getting really mad at the situation.

Hi Rui,

This forum for whatever reason is usually unresponsive when I click buttons. I did try to reply to you in one of those threads, but the quote button just doesn't do anything for me. It does seem like we're in the same boat. I was told by support that it's a complicated process... but I can't think of a reason that the complicated process would take 14 business days. I guess if there is a backlog, maybe?

I'm having the same issues. Most frustrating.

Don't know what is happening with the forum or with the process of editing the order, but i managed to get a kit at the 31/01 and now because of some weird issue our orders are beeing delayed.

I'm really thinking in canceling it.

I edited my order in March to remove the filtration unit and camera due to concerns with those items holding up the order.

I had a reply within a day regarding the partial refund and my order amended.

No reason for them to take 14 days unless they are really short on staff 🤔.

Maybe they just state 14 days to cover their arses 🤔

I did the same with the filtration, but it did take close to 2 weeks for it to be refunded, not sure why. I didn't see it as an issue, as my printer wasn't due to start to be delivered until the batch 5 date of 14th May.

I did see movement of my order before the batch 5 delivery start though. DHL sprung delivery on me last Friday 9th, but I wasn't home or could arrange anyone to be.

Took delivery today, which was nice. Gummy bears have been consumed 😅, but I've not had the chance to start the build yet, as I'm in the middle of renovating a house that is taking up a lot of my time. Hoping to chip away at the build this week and have it printing by the weekend, hoping 😅

Build guide, with some extra build tips, in my sig 😉

Even though someone experienced like yourself will have no trouble, feel free to give it a watch over so you know what to expect, although still use the online guide alongside it. My videos have never been intended to replace the official online guide, they supplement and provide a different viewpoint - and show potential buyers that building the kit really isn't a daunting task! That and the fact I also like to watch a couple of videos beforehand so I have an overview of what's coming!

Above all else, enjoy your build!
