Does CORE One print well ABS?
Coming from the Voron world, ABS is my goto filament. The CORE One specification does mention ABS but I don't see it mentioned much here in the forum, as opposed to let's say PETG, PC, and TPU.
Does the CORE One prints ABS well?
RE: Does CORE One print well ABS?
Don't know about ABS but it prints ASA beautifully.

From the spec sheet...... PLA, PETG, Flex, PVA, PC, PP, CPE, PVB and when using the optional Advanced Filtration System ABS, ASA, HIPS, PA
So, yes ABS is supported.
RE: Does CORE One print well ABS?
It have printed ABS without any issue. But I would recommend to switch to ASA. ABS is the filament of the past which has not advantages over ASA. It's just bit harder to print.

At what speed is the Core One capable of printing ASA?

Good to know. I will give it a try.

With 0.6mm HF nozzle the Prusament ASA filament profile has max volumetric speed set to 34 mm^3/s. That's quite fast. Maybe it's possible to print it even faster, but it may not have good layer bonds if you push it too much.
RE: Does CORE One print well ABS?
Tried ABS-GF on my Core One yesterday and it printed good, I used the generic ABS profile and adjusted temps slightly.
It takes a few minutes to get going as it heats the chamber. Only a smallish part but very nice result, zero warping.

I got my CORE One, so far am printing ABS only, the results are excellent, and the chamber temperature is higher than that of my Voron.
Will also try ASA though I am happy with ABS.
EDIT: I use the Prusa build plate that is smooth on both sides and first layer adhesion is very good.
RE: Does CORE One print well ABS?
I am wanting to print a part for the H2d in my core one and it needs to be printed in ABS.
I have the adv filtration, and I am wondering, how good of a filtration can i expect from it as it will be printing in a not too well ventilated room.
Asking before I contaminate the whole room.

Even with the filtration unit, I wouldn't print ABS or ASA in an enclosed room. The enclosure is not airtight and styrene fumes will leak out. I would move the printer to an open window, or if you can, outside even.
RE: Does CORE One print well ABS?
I've been been printing on a regular basis ASA ( not ABS ) in an enclosed room for several years. The room in question is an office/kitchen where food is cooked not far from my two ( well enclosed ) printers. I'm still alive (sort of.. )
Some people says that the exposure to fumes from ordinary cooking are more dangerous than printing ABS/ASA. So, if I stop posting suddenly, I'm afraid that you'll never know what killed me at last, the fumes from ASA or food ...

Have a friend who has smoked for years. Says he's fine.
My printer and dryer is next to a vented window no matter what I'm printing nor drying. Not willing to experiment. I also cook with the fume hood running.

RE: Does CORE One print well ABS?
Since I posted the question here I got a Core One and it prints ABS very well, even better than my Voron 2. I am using the Prusa magnetic sheet with satin surface on both sides.
