Core One Print Sheets
Prusa has produced one for the Core One. What is the difference between them and the old ones for the MK4S?

RE: Core One Print Sheets
I don't know for sure, but I presume it is the difference between the MK3 and MK4 plates. Just branding.

RE: Core One Print Sheets
You might be right, but they list them as incompatible on the store. I have a lot of sheets and would prefer to use one of the old ones for PC blend with glue stick.

RE: Core One Print Sheets
For the textured and satin sheets the Core One-specific version has no silk-screening within the print area. The MK4 build sheets have silk screening that will leave marks on prints if used on the Core One and the print expands near the edges of the sheet.
RE: Core One Print Sheets
Until this morning I would have said they're identical. But yesterday I started a print that extended to the front of the Core One, using a Mk4 textured sheet, and indeed this morning I found that the model has pulled off the screen print.
Good thing is, now that it's gone the next prints will be fine.

Thanks for the heads up. I will keep them separate. Have a couple Mk3S MK4S that I a research for them.

RE: Core One Print Sheets
Interesting - I received the textured and satin sheets with my core one. Have yet to use them as Ive just been using the default Core One smooth sheet that's supplied with the printer, but neither the textured or satin have any printer model noted on them - just 'Original Prusa'......

Mine all have Core One on them.

RE: Core One Print Sheets
I had a day 1 order and the smooth sheet + the satin sheet thrown in say CORE One. Seems like it would make sense now to just print them "Prusa" and make sure the lettering is out of the way on both print models 🤔 . Maybe just a "while stock lasts" kind of thing.

That's useful for knowing which sheet type to use for which filaments. But this thread is asking about the difference between a CORE One smooth sheet and a MK4 smooth sheet. And similar for the satin, textured, and nylon sheets, the difference between the CORE One and MK4 of each type.

And I think this thread can be wrapped up by saying that there's no functional difference. The only difference is the white labeling on the sheets which — if you use Mk4 sheets — extends into the print area of the Core One and will be picked up by the filament.

RE: Core One Print Sheets
Thank you. That is what I thought. I just hate to ruin a sheet. I have a lot of off brand ones that I use successfully. I would rather use them for PC Blend with a gluestick. I reserve the Prusa made for less harsh printing processes.

RE: Core One Print Sheets
The strange thing is that some of them seem to be sold for both, others only for the Core One. The original print area for the MK3 was 250x210 but the sheet itself was sized at 254x232mm. Think the Core One is fairly close if not identical in terms of bed size.
There's a line here explains it: "Note that the sheets for the CORE One and the MK series sheets are interchangeable, just with different designs."

They do seem to be offering different sheets for some materials, but you probably can interchange them. I found this because I had bought a nylon sheet with an intention of using it on my soon to be assembled Core One, but I could use it on the mk3s+ at a push if I wanted.

Yes, the CORE One sheets are identical in size to the sheets for the MK3. Both printers (and the MK4 as well) use the exact same MK52 heatbed. The only difference are the 3D printed connection covers and length of the taped on thermistor wires. The PCB heater, placement and quantity of embedded magnets, and integrated alignment studs are the same for all three printer models.
The x/y print area differences between the three printers are down to the reach of the kinematics of the individual printer models.
