Core One Buddy3D Camera compatible with previous enclosure?
The corner profiles of the Core One look really similar to those of the official Prusa enclosure. Is the Buddy3D Camera for the Core One physically compatible with the official enclosure? I'd love to use one as a camera for my MK4s with enclosure.
RE: Core One Buddy3D Camera compatible with previous enclosure?
Apart from the question of mechanical fit/attachment in the MK4 enclosure's frame, I am wondering whether the camera would be looking at the right spot? It seems aimed at a 45° angle, hence would be looking at the center of the MK4 enclosure and towards the opposite corner. The print might be at the lower edge of the field of view, or even out of view initially? The Core One geometry is different of course, with the printing action always happening at the same height, in the upper part of the enclosure.

I thought the same thing, so I took the gamble and ordered it. I figure if it doesn't line up right I can design a mount to make it look in the right spot.
It's definitely not ideal since on a bed slinger the print is constantly moving, but I just want to use it to monitor prints when I'm away to make sure it's not making a mess with a failed print.

Did your camera arrive? I'd love to know how it lines up!

I'm still waiting. I'm guessing the end of March.

My core one camera arrived. It fits perfectly into the original enclosure. No mods needed! Not super crazy about only magnets holding it in, but seemed fairly solid. The camera is aimed pretty well too!
