Core One - amazing!

Just wanted to document a success story - this printer is amazing and Prusa support is wonderful.   A minor glitch while tensioning belts was fixed with help 2 days ago and a few hours later the printer was - printing! So far* I'm only printing supplied parts but the "bonkers" Benchy (the boat) was amazing - less than 10 minutes, and the spatula (useful) came out perfect too.  * Oh, forgot, I have printed one of my own - from the Prusa Academy 3D modelling tutorial - the Lego (tm!) brick which came out absolutely perfect (in PETG), it fits perfectly with existing Lego, amazing!   I look forward to greater things soon ....

Well done - this is where it all starts!!

Did you go for assembled or the kit? I'm guessing it's the former? Nothing wrong with either choice, but was just interested to know! I always find the learning process by building the kit adds valuable knowledge, and its a fun process too!

Kit. Very impressed by instructions and pictures etc. Could give Prusa a few tips though on better use of English in places. Looking forward to a few mods to include a dry box at least. Kind of surprised Prusa don't do that as an option, having gone to all the trouble with the enclosure. Any reason why they wouldn't? Absolutely the best tip re assembly someone gave (I forget who) was to put two (not one) sheets of cardboard (salvaged from the Prusa boxes) under the unit. It's then very easy to spin the whole device to face the way you need for assembly. My fingers took a while to recover from the nylon rivets!  The supplied tools were a nice surprise and generally excellent.

Prusa seems to be about providing a vanilla printer and allowing the community to provide the enhancements.
