Random restart printer during print
Hi all,
I have problem with my Prusa Core One. When I printing one simple project, my printer is restarted each aproximately 2 - 3 minutes during printing. After that sound from printer beeping 10 times and dislay is switch off. Printer is restarting and continue with printing project.
Do you have any idea where is problem ?
Thanks

Sounds like a power problem.
Are there any messages on the display before it restarts?
I'd start with checking the screws attaching the power cable to the power supply and electronics board.
Kit or assembled?
RE: Random restart printer during print
There are two threads on this, which just recently seem to have converged on a (surprising!) solution. The issue seems to be that on many Core One units, the XY stepper motors are not grounded. During long, fast moves, apparently the belt friction creates enough buildup of static electricity to cause a discharge which disturbs printer operation.

Grounding the motor chassis -- either via a separate ground strap (cable), or by just removing the paint below one of the screw heads which attach each motor to the CoreXY frame -- has solved this problem for several users. See the above threads for details and illustrations.
