Question about C1 assembly sealing plug

Hi all,

I'm a first time user to 3d printing and I'm currently at this stage. I'm confused about the direction of the plug, if I put it in the hole with the smaller side down, then the larger side would be visibile on top, and that side is flat. But it doesn't look like it in the picture, it seems like the small side (with a ring around it) is on display here. Did I misunderstand this?

thanks in advance!

It doesn't (won't) matter which way it's inserted. This plug is for the optional accelerometer cable.

The point of this direction is that you install the plug into the hole by inserting the side with the smaller diameter into the hole. If you try to insert it the other way it'll be a lot harder. 🙂 As @hyiger said, it doesn't matter which way you plug it in.

I'll add that what I meant is you insert the small end first but it doesn't matter which orientation. That is, you can either insert it from inside the chamber or insert it from outside the chamber. The orientation won't matter.
