So I made one small error during my build - although it doesn't affect the functioning of the printer in any way. I didn't spot it until filming had finished and I've rectified it now, but I wonder if any eagle eyed viewers can spot it!!

As I said, it doesn't affect the functioning of the printer at all.......   😉

Very nice, but I didn't find your error.  I will say that initially I thought the video times seemed short, but nothing was missed and the steps all clearly shown.  Kind of tells you how much time is spent gathering parts and prepping vs building.  BTW, like the way you handled the rear spacer for the bed.  In the videos I've watched folks struggle with that part alignment.

Thanks for your hard work on creating this content.

Very nice series!

I think you installed the top rear frame rail on the right instead of the back🤦🏼 😂.  It's definitely something I would do!  Even after you mentioned specifically about that.  I wonder what those holes are for... 🤔

Can't edit my original post, but if you're still on the fence about purchasing your Core One, hopefully the build guide shows how straightforward the build is! So if you're looking to pull the trigger please do use my referral link (it'll earn you 100 Prusa Points too1)!
Thank you!!

Excellent guide, I shall be using it when I start building mine later today. I will, of course, include the eating of the gummy bears in my build though 🤣🤣

I don't like the gummy bears - mine generally go to my neighbours or someone at work! lol

good videos, thanks!

my attempt at finding the mistake: you didn't pass the stepper splitter cable through the last cable binder before having it go to the motherboard?

Nope.

Hint - it's in the later part of the build. However, I'm glad its not obvious enough to be noticed too quickly - hopefully it stays that way! Maybe I should have kept my mouth shut! lol

Thanks for watching the videos - hope they come in useful!

Excellent build instructions!  Clear and concise.  Thank you so much for making them available.

I doubt I found the Easter Egg, but I thought I saw one power cable connection to the xBuddy that was upside down in one view, but correct in the next.  I was also amused watching the gantry crash when you raised the frame to attach the x-axis motor; almost an Uncle Jessie moment!  😄

Yes I didn't think of moving the linear rail to the back before lifting the CoreXY assembly! I did read a tip somewhere afterwards though stating to move it to the rear before lifting! Typical! lol

Was it the zip tie mounted the other way around when securing all cables after mounting the filament sensor? 😂

That’s got to be the “error”!  Good catch!  Interesting that the footprint is totally square.  I had assumed it was deeper than wide.

You got me!! lol

Well spotted! I didn't realise I had done that until after the build! It's completely square so doesn't make any difference, although I've of course corrected it now. I'm assuming those two threaded holes are for some additional accessory that's yet to come - either that or it was a MMU3 placeholder???......

RE:

EXCELLENT assembly video!  I didn't catch your mistake - glad it wasn't a major effort for you to fix it!  The only thing I can suggest is that it would be nice if you could add which step in the assembly instructions you are on.  This would be helpful for those who like to follow along the written guide at the same time as the video.

Thanks, will bear this in mind for the future. Maybe I could put the step in the bottom corner or something.....
