New Smooth Print Sheet
I just assembled my Core One and have started to do some prints. I noticed that the Smooth sheet that came with the printer appears to have a protective film on both sides, looking at the little holes in front of the sheet there is clearly a film over them and small bubbles on the sheet. Is there a film on the sheet that I should remove?

You must be kidding us, right? Well, if you want to destroy the plate, tear off the "covering foil". But seriously: God forbid you touch that foil! That is the PEI coating that is printed on! You should probably know this, since you've been here on the forum for quite some time!

That's a little harsh. @snoweagle asks a valid question. I examined my plate, saw the holes and that there was a film covering them, and wondered the same thing. I didn't tear the film off, but the thought certainly occurred to me that maybe I was supposed to.

I just want to be sure, the smooth sheet for my Mk3s looks nothing like this one, no film or small bubbles under the surface.
