loctite...
previously with my mk4s, when i would periodically go through and check screws for tightness, many were loose. maybe some is from the petg creeping over time. when i would find one loose, i would loctite (blue) it back in. when i took it apart last week for the mk4s -> core one upgrade, everything that i loctite'd was tight but most everything else was no longer tight. when i put the core one kit together, i loctite'd everything except the screws on the outside panels. this isn't the first time i've worked with fasteners, so i mostly get it when the instructions include the ambiguous "tight but not too tight" without any sort of torque tool or measurement.
what are others' experiences with this?

funny, I was thinking exactly the same just yesterday... I need to go and check the state of the various screws on the C1 hoping that they will not loosen up as bad as the mk4s

Or make the same mistake I did and replace the PC-CF parts with Nylon (PA). At the time, I didn't realize how badly unannealed Nylon cold-creeps.

Just wondering... A faint memory that Loctite doesn't mix with plastics. Best case, undefined results, and worst case, plastics turning to dust.
Not sure if that's what you meant, just in case someone reads it this way.

It depends. There are lots of different kinds of Loctite. Loctite 425 is specified for plastics, but reported not good with Polycarbonate.
