check the cardboard. I recall dimly some - even large - parts were hidden quite effectively.
I think most missing-parts cases are resolved after some search.

Agree with @mnentwig some are well hidden inside the foam. I got tripped-up by that when I was building mine.

I was also looking for a part during construction (I don't remember exactly which one), but it was perfectly "hidden" in the foam, and was only found after I cursed profusely. I guess it got scared and climbed out of its hiding place in the foam itself! 😀 😀
