How to avoid hardened nozzle and open vent messages
Whenever I start a print with my Prusa CoreOne+ I get two messages which I have to cancel: One is that my gcode is incompatible because I'm not using a hardened nozzle, the other is to ensure that my top vent is open. Both can be cancelled, but it would be nice not to have to.
I use PrusaSlicer and I see no option to select nozzle type, so is there an option somewhere that I'm missing?
My printer is supposed to have an automatic vent but I don't know how to enable that, so that the vent message won't appear.
RE: How to avoid hardened nozzle and open vent messages
Hi,
if you have mounted an hardened nozzle and printing with an abrasive filament, you have to go to Settings - Hardware - Toolhead - and enable Hardened Nozzle there
(the exact wording may differ, i'm using another language on my printer).
On Prusaslicer you can also change the setting on the filament tab - advanced - and un-check "Abrasive filament".
About the top vent, there should be an option in the settings but i have CoreOne non+ so i'm not sure 100% where is located.

Thanks Antonio. I've checked my PrusaSlicer and I can find no setting for 'abrasive filament' or anything like it. Filament type is set to 'PLA', which is what I'm using. But I've just dug down into my CoreOne+ menus and I've found both the options you've mentioned, and changed them. Thank you 😀

I forgot to mention, in the Prusaslicer main window you have to set the Expert mode (red), right next to your username on the top right corner. Then the option will appear 😉 (look at the screenshot)
