First print failed, now I’m stuck
I self-assembled my Core ONE+.
I didn’t tighten the thumb screws enough on the nozzle, and it pushed out of place 2 min into my first (ever) print. I stopped it as as soon as it happened. There is no visible damage to anything. Except for Benchy. Poor Benchy.
Filament isn’t flowing. The nextruder gear clicks. I’ve gone through the help article on clearing out the nozzle. I was printing with the included orange PLA, so I heated it up to 260 as instructed and tried manually pushing filament in past the Nextruder gear. But it’s not pushing through. I did let it warm at the 260 temp for a while and some filament did drip out, but eventually stopped.
If I use the needle, it pushes up into the nozzle far enough to touch the filament I’m pushing from the other direction. So there is a path there… but the filament doesn’t push down far enough to get heated and push through. I can push filament in about as far as the copper band on the nozzle. But it’s like there’s filament up there that’s not heating and then not flowing…
Anything I should try?
For all issues with a new machine or new build the best resource is Prusa Support via chat. You will need the printer's serial number.
Cheerio,
