Filamentblob causing layer shift

As shown in the picture there is a "drop" or "blob" of Filament... The Nozzle hit this thing and got whacked to the side and started printing in mid air. I've had this issue four times, but this time around I was in the room and could stop the print and analyze this problem.

I was using a Obxidian 0.6mm Nozzle up until it clogged. Now I'm on the "E3D Prusa MK4/XL V6 Düsenadapter" with a "BROZZL Düse Stahl gehärtet für E3D V6" (Hardened Steel Nozzle).

But I've had the same thing happen with the Obxidian one.

I tried both the speed or structural setting. I mostly print PLA and PCTG. Happend both with PLA and PCTG and both on speed or structural.

What the heck am I doing wrong? Btw the print in the Picture is with PCTG.

RE:

I have had the same problem on my Mk4s and PETG.  I increased the retraction setting from 0.7 to 1.4 and now the prints are much cleaner.  I don’t need to do that with PLA; only PETG.
