Filament no longer feeds after first print
I purchased a fully assembled Core One and after the first print, I noticed that the filament would not feed pass the gears down through the hole to the hot end. I made sure that I cut the end of the filament as instructed but it gets caught. It is if there is a sight misalignment in the path of the filament with the hole where the filament enters the hot end. Maybe if the had a slight bevel (funnel -like) entry to the hot end would help. Can someone help suggest what I should do next to resolve this issue?Thank you in advance. Victor
RE: Filament no longer feeds after first print
If you are printing PLA, it's possible you got a nozzle clog. Try doing a cold pull. There is a wizard for that on the UI screen. I'm not in front of my printer but I believe it's in the Calibration section.
RE: Filament no longer feeds after first print
Thank you hyiger for the suggestion. I checked this and the nozzle is not clogged and is clear. I looked at this several problem several times and what is happening is that the filament catches on side of the hole just before it enters the hotted so it I get the clicking noise since the filament stops feeding. There seems to be a very slight misalignment of the filament feed path with there hole just before it feeds into the hole that leads to the hot end. I tried adjusting the tension screws but it doesn't seem to help. I also cut the filament at angle as recommended but it still doesn't help. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated so that I can get my Core One working again and not have to continue to use my Mark 3s. Can someone in Prusa Technical support help? Thank you Victor
