Core One + MMU3 Question
Hey there, so I have the Prusa Core One +, that I bought as a kit, without the MMU3, and I also have a MK4S that I bought assembled with the MMU3. I would like to switch my MMU3 onto my Core One +. I ordered the MMU3 community version cable, and printed out a version of the Community top mount system. It is my understanding there may be changes to the Nextruder that have to be made on the core one for it to work with the MMU3? So, if this is true, would I be able to just switch my nextruders, core one + nextruder to MK4S, and MK4S Nextruder (that came with the MMU3) to the core one? Thanks for the help!
RE: Core One + MMU3 Question
Yup, the easiest way would be to pop off the extruder set up off the MK4S w the MMU3 mod (there is a little loop in the tensioner latch)
then pop off the core one extruder and swap them around.
After you get everything done you will have to go back into each machines hardware settings and swap around the settings for each machine so the MMU unit will work correctly

RE: Core One + MMU3 Question
Awesome. Thanks a ton! I thought that would work and i'd be good, but, I didn't want to risk it so I figured i'd ask some people with more experience!
RE: Core One + MMU3 Question
Ok, sorry, another quick question, I just switched my core one + nextruder over to MK4s, and vice versa. (MK4s had the MMU3 that came with it) what settings do I need to go in and change? Thanks again for any help!
RE: Core One + MMU3 Question
Just incase anyone has this future issue of switching to the MMU3 and then the Fsensor triggering too early.
I talked to Prusa support, they asked me to try enabling my side sensor, and it ended up fixing the issue. Must be an issue in the firmware but there ya go if you have that issue!
