Belt cut loose when calibrating and firmware upgrade error upon first boot
Hi, after turning on my new Core One+ for the first time, the belt was cut loose after the calibration. I had previously adjusted the belts according to the frequency with the app.
I cannot find any tutorial on how to replace the belt.
I also experienced this frightening error while upgrading the firmware, I pressed the reset afterwards and started over.
See the attached images/videos for the details.
Worst of all, I didn't get my haribo, so ending each assembly chapter ended in a bad joke.
Please help, thank you.
Francisco.
PS. I couldn't find any support email that's why I'm posting this over here.

Your belt snapped? HOW
RE:
Ah - Please find the Prusa 'CHAT NOW' button. It is usually in the lower right of your screen.
Wait time is typically 10 - 40 minutes. The techs are very helpful
Look for this. It is on most screens, but not all.

It snapped while calibrating, the head kept bumping its head against the wall. I uploaded a video on my post but it's not shown.
Hours later, after disassembling, I couldn't find the other half, so I'm pretty sure that it didn't split in two, but instead went loose on one end.
Regarding the "chat now", now I see it, way hidden at the bottom. Thanks!

If the belt was properly seated in the harness, then it shouldn't have come out since the teeth interlock to hold it in place. Completely loosen the belt tension, remove the nextruder, remove the belt harness from the linear rail. Route the belt into the harness and take a photo of the reverse side. It should look like this:

If the belt slipped out the holder, follow the instructions here.
Near the bottom of the link starting with "Extensive adjustment of gantry and belts (CORE One)", you will find instructions for removing the extruder assembly.
Once you remove the extruder assembly, you can see if it was a belt slippage or a true belt break.
Right after my kit build, I managed to "break" the belt or at least I thought so. It was just a slippage.

I'm pretty sure I left 5 teeth per side during assembly. Here is the video of the calibration, I guess the position of the head near the border helped lossening it up.

That is great. How long was your wait?
