RE: Enclosure comprehensive review
That's something I've been looking for a while. Unfortunately soundproofing is essential for me, due to the location of the printer at work and home.
Thanks for the honest review!
...
AND SOME NOTES
• They make the printers louder than when I had them on cement pavers. There is no space for a paver in these enclosure without modification so I opted not use them. If you want to use them say, in your office, I would recommend not installing the foam aligners on the bottom and using an appropriately sized paver instead (may need a center support foot to keep the metal from bending)...
RE: Enclosure comprehensive review
Interested in hearing from OP whether he has had any QC issues on any of the subsequent enclosures orders?
I had a missing back panel when I first started building the enclosure (they sent me 3 side panels), and when I went to install the PSU quick disconnect it was incorrectly terminated so the disconnect doesn't connect. Seems to difficult issue to assess for the QC team as I've been waiting 2 weeks for feedback about the quick disconnect.
RE: Enclosure comprehensive review
Well I’m not a he, but whatever. No QC issues with any of the five enclosures received. Hard to see from the pics but are the terminals wrong on the right connector?
RE: Enclosure comprehensive review
I had no problems either with my enclosure.
What i really, really appreciate is the amount of spare nuts, screws whatever.
What surprised me was that the advanced filtration system doesn't suck the air out of the enclosure but is a circulation system. And it is quite noisy.
RE: Enclosure comprehensive review
Yes, the male plug on the right is the problem, it has 2 male pin and 4 female pin/sockets (should have 6 male pins), the female plug has 6 female pin/sockets. Opposing sides need a male and female to connect.
The 4 incorrect terminations are the power, the 2 that were terminated correctly are for the power panic.
