Temperature difference in bed

Hi, I've been having problems with warping and the entire print coming unglued. I thought it was due to moisture from the filament, so I dried it, but it's still the same. Then I decided to measure the bed temperature with a laser thermometer. The screen showed 70°C, but the laser thermometer read 51°C. I've tested it several times, and the difference is between 15°C and 20°C compared to the screen reading.Has anyone else experienced this? Or do you know of any way to fix it?

Thanks and regards.

Try with other thermometer.

If the issue persists then wiggle cables or reconnect the plugs in the connectors.

If the issue still persists,.then talk with the support over Prusa Chat. You may have a bed thermistor getting noticeable reading offset when heated.

See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

Okay, I'll check if the cable connector is okay, thanks.

one more thing, worth to ensure the cables are twisted properly on the whole length to avoid EMI between them.

The cables came untwisted; I didn't read that they needed to be twisted. I disconnected the connector and reconnected it, and it seems to be working better now. I'll keep testing it to see if I notice a temperature difference again.

Thanks, everyone.

That's not a Core One L but the smaller Core One, right? Big difference regarding the heat bed, which is mains-powered in the "L" version. Users should not wiggle connectors and twist cables in that one.

When do you say cables do you mean thermistor, power cables, or both ?.  I own two printers with mains powered bed and a MK3S+ ( 24 VDC powered bed ). To tell the truth, I never cared if the cables are twisted or not because I never had temperature issues.

Yes, it's the Core One+
