Prusa XL Top Cover?
I know there are some detailed, thorough enclosures being developed for the XL such as this one.
If, however, I wanted to do the quickest, dirtiest improvement I could in terms of heat retention--would making a partial top cover like the below have a worthwhile impact? Or is it not worth the hardware store trip to pick up some plastic?

You will not retain much heat from the printer with just a hat. As the printer bed moves down the print will cool down. You also won't eliminate any drafts.

Have you seen my design?
I took the time to prototype and iterate everything and also made a building manual! Last, I have communicated with an aliexpress store to offer full kits of all hardware and acrylic to make it accessible worldwide!
RE: Prusa XL Top Cover?
This is what I was looking for--so either do it properly (like the thread I linked to) or not at all.
Thanks!
