Perfect first layer - It was but now it's not...
Anyone else seeing their first layer quality deteriorate? Mine were great but now I'm getting too much squish. I've been checking the nozzle is clean but not sure there's much else to do?

I think I may have figured it out but I need to test. It seems the filament profiles in Prusaslicer 2.7 beta have prusament first layer set to 230c. It does the bed probe at 170c. I can imagine the expansion that happens between those temps causes this issue.
I don't need the first layer at 230c so i'll revert to 215c and check.

I might be out of my depth here, but this looks to me like a very hot first Layer. These "waves" I see remind me of a print on the XL where I used 220c° on PLA which was waayyy too hot - my XL seems to print rather hot so for most PLA's 200c° is perfect.
The usual reason for that sort of wave pattern is that the first layer is too low - but worn down nozzles can be a little more susceptible - we don't (yet) have much experience of how the XL wears...
Try nudging the first layer thickness up a fraction. Under a lens, compare the nozzle to a new one.

Had similar situations. 2.7beta 2 is a bit buggy. What I found out is that if the nozzle isn't perfectly clean before probing, the distance isn't correct. What I do now is to clean the nozzle before, since then every layer is perfect.

Dropping the first layer temp definitely helped. I check the nozzle is clean but the printer should 'clean' it for the first layer. Maybe they can learn from Bambu here. It does beg the question what happens when you try print with a higher temp material. Is the probe temp lifted in line?

I had a similar issue ... I had one nozzle torn down slightly more than the others (Glow in the Dark Filament .) ...) ...
Since the probing only happens with one nozzle it might happen that the distrances for the other ones are off ...
In this case try to run a tool calibration ... then the difference should vanish.
But Slicer / Firmware / Profiles are still far a way from perfect ... there is quite some tuning necessary to get the used to Prusa quality. Thinks like cleaning and probing with cold nozzles, Wrong tools for probing, 0.06g filament for E1 when not used at all ... ... ... But we are getting there ...
