One Layer Doesn't Change The Tool?

I've encountered a very strange (and unexpected) problem.  I wanted to print come test checkered cubes to work out a multi-color modeling workflow (and just see how well they would print).  I printed one in PETG (using lightning infill and 2 perimeters) and one with PLA (using support cubic infill and 3 perimeters).  The PETG one printed correctly but the PLA version looks like it didn't change the tool for one layer and printed it in a single color (black) for some reason.  It shows correctly in PrusaSlicer.

I could probably tweak the settings (or revert to those I used for PETG) but it's somewhat disconcerting to know that this can randomly happen especially when printing larger models.  Has anyone encountered this before?  Any idea what to do about it?

Here's the GCODE.

I think the forum only accepts zip-files

Trying a zip file then...  3MF and the GCODE for the incorrect PLA print.

I'm trying another print now after upgrading to the latest firmware (6.0.1 to 6.0.4) and I resliced for Generic PLA instead of Prusament PLA (which I what I printed originally).  So far, so good (it made it past the layer that was incorrect previously).
