Need help figuring out PETG print - worst failure I've ever had (Prusa XL multi-tool)

I had a massive failure while trying to print parts for the EnXLosure. Started a 15 hour print and woke up to a bit of a catastrophe.

Looking for help on figuring out why this happened and what I could do better in the future.

Background details:

  • I used Overture PETG (White), with unmodified "Generic PETG" settings in Prusa Slicer.
  • I used default 0.25 layer height settings, with 4 perimeters and 25% infill.
  • This is what I was trying to print. It failed I think around 13% when some of the filament somehow got in and blocked the fan.
  • I am using a powdered satin sheet, and I wiped the sheet down with isopropyl alcohol before starting the print.
  • No one was going in and out of the room while it was printing, so there should not have been any significant drafts or temperature variations. The room temperature would have been approximately 70F/21C

The non-printed parts for the enclosure are on there way, and I have lots of printing left to do, but am worried about starting anything new before I diagnose what is going on here. Would really welcome any help.

Do you have a picture of the failed print?

Was the filament in the fan stringing, spaghetti or escaped raw filament?

Cheerio,
