Idle filaments absorbing moisture in PTFE tubes
Does anyone have tips for reducing moisture absorption in the PTFE tubes? With highly hygroscopic filaments (CF-PA12 in this case), the filament absorbs enough moisture when idle to affect print quality.
In this shot, both spools were put in the dryer at the same time and dried for a bit before starting. The second spool was set to spool join, which happened 10h or so after the print started. There is a noticeable section (marked in red) of reduced quality that I'm pretty sure was caused by wet filament.
