Help with finish on support areas

Hi. Printing with PLA on my XL5 printer. Some parts require support to print. When I remove supports, I get a sort of a mesh or lined finish as a result. Are there any settings that will improve these areas? Top & bed surfaces are good.

RE: Help with finish on support areas

Should probably zip and upload your 3mf project file so we can have specifics to dig through. This looks like a normal underside of a supported area with a non-zero z contact distance.

Generic advice based on guesses: if you're going for the 'perfectly supported underside' type of print that a multitool XL is good at then start with the Breakaway print settings and PETG for the supports.
