Gaps in small emblem

Hello everyone,

I’m running into an issue while trying to print a small, detailed emblem on a flat surface. As you can see in the attached image, there are gaps in the print — and I can’t figure out which setting is causing them. The perimeter generator seems to have an influence: Classic creates different gaps than Arachne.

On top of that, I’m also noticing a strange effect along the border of the object (see third image).
Does anyone know what might be causing this issues? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I'm using the "0.20mm SPEED" profile, and already tried to alter the "minimum feature with" and "minimal perimeter with" setting

RE: Gaps in small emblem

Unfortunately  you have not attached a copy of the Prusa Slicer, Project file for us to experiment with
Click the File drop down menu,
Choose 'Save Project As' option,
Save the project file as a recognisable name, this should result in a .3mf file of that name.
ZIP Compress the project file, and then attach the ZIP file, to your next post
In the mean time.
the text looks quite small which can give difficulties with infill,
Try setting the first layer to one perimeter to change the infill style
I Suspect that you are using Arachne perimeter generator, try Classic Perimeter generator

you could also try setting the first layer extrusion width to a smaller number to allow more traces within the infill area

similarly you could try reducing the  first layer External Perimeter extrusion width, again, to allow more space for the infill

Please note! some of these parameters need Prusa slicer to be in 'Expert Mode'
the rest can be changes in 'Normal Mode'

For simplicity sake, just enable 'Expert Mode'   then all parameters will be visible

RE: Gaps in small emblem

Extrusion Multiplier in the filaments settings is another solution. Increase from the default 1.0 to 1.1 or higher to lay down more plastic over all. It can solve many single layer infill issues, especially inlays.
