Anyone able to make a .25mm or .3mm Input Shaping or Speed profile for the XL?
I'm looking to make a fast, draft mode profile for the XL. VFA and a little stringing are not a concern, this is for rough fitting chunky prototypes. I know I can simply copy the existing .2mm profile and change the layer height but I'd like some help identifying other key values to consider when doing this like volumetric speeds, etc. This will be mostly for PLA and PETG, occasionally -CF variants.
Any help appreciated.
What's wrong with the existing 0.3mm DRAFT (0.4mm nozzle) and 0.4mm DRAFT (0.6mm nozzle) settings?
Cheerio,

What .3mm profile? And I'd like to try and capture the speed improvements from the Input Shaping and (now?) Speed profiles.

Input shaping shouldn't change by the nozzle size. Guess I'm not sure how the XL does theirs. Generally the goal is to cancel out the vibrations of the printer and give you a max acceleration before quality starts to drop.
Speed profiles would need to change.

I used the default configuration 0.3mm nozzle Input Shaping 'Speed' profile for the first time over the weekend. Printed my object using variable layer heights very nicely and not much slower than a very similar object I have printed before with the 0.4mm nozzle.

The latest profiles seem to cover all of my needs. There is a .28 mm Draft mode that should work for me.
