XL First Layer way too low causing major issues

I am having a problem with my first layer.  After printing 100+ prints with no issues, the first layer, including the purge strings at the front of the bed, are all too low! Almost gouging the bed and making massive ridges in the first layers if anything comes out at all because the nozzle is so tight to the bed!

I have checked about everything I can think of.  Did Tool calibrations, force sensor tests, cleaning nozzles, replacing nozzles, etc.  Spent a good 6 hours on this.  Even base settings in PrusaSlicer and a basic cube built in Prusa.  I am posting this because I don't want anyone else to go through this!!!

Well I had edited my original post while it was being held for moderation.  Looks like it didn’t “stick!”

After all the things I tried, I started checking all of the tool engagements to the coreXY head. One of the tools, tool 1, was a bit loose. Not side to side but up and down. More specifically the engagement was 100% solid, however the hot end heatsink was flexing loosely even though the mount was solid.  Turns out a few of the torx screws under the part cooling fan that hold the sheet metal to the heatsink had worked their way loose!  Now everytime the tool probed,  it flexed a bit before satisfying the load sensor.  Fixed this and recalibrated all nozzle calibration positions and we are running better than ever!

on the attached image, the left three purge strands have a very noticeable scrape down the middle and filament bulging outwards.  This is the symptom I observed.  The last one in the right is after it is fixed and running perfect first layers

This is showing as [SOLVED] but I don't see any solution posted?
