Why probe on each print

I'm wondering why that we need to probe before each print. If I'm printing multiple prints, one after the other, is not the bed going to be the same? Should there be an option to skip probing?

Each time you remove a print and clean down before the next there is a chance you will leave the bed in a slightly different position.

The slicer sets the probe area differently for each print - unless each print is in exactly the same position the previous values are invalid.  You could try editing some of the G29 P commands but unless you know G-code well you will cause endless problems...

I'm not sure I'd buy that. In the pre loadcell days, you did not have to probe before each print. And my prints came out fine after doing the first probe.

But that's exactly what my (definitely pre-loadcell) Mk3 always does...
