Tool Offset Calibration Bug

The first step of tool offset calibration discusses cleaning all nozzles. It heats all heads to 200 C and then waits. There is no way to exit the procedure from this step without using the "reset" button. There is no way to have the machine select tools. There is no way to drive the machine to a convenient place for nozzle cleaning.

This procedure would be more complete and convenient if it allowed the user to select a tool, brought the tool to the front of the enclosure and lowered the bed to allow access to the tool for cleaning the nozzle. Only the selected tool should need to be at temperature for cleaning.

Does that make sense, or am I misunderstanding something fundamental here? I went looking in the Knowledge Base and only found a page for manual calibration.

RE: Tool Offset Calibration Bug

Your complaint makes sense.  Why heat it up if they aren't going to make it easy to clean them beforehand.

RE:

You can skip this. You hit continue if your nozzles are already clean.

I recommend you have your nozzles clean before starting.
