On XL machines like in that post dont dissasembly the filament sensor only try cleaning it with compress air if this is not working. Try downgrading the firmware if that fails also contact Prusa support

Hi,
Check whether the nozzle tube is not deformed by the holding screw. I accidentally overtighten it so after some time (10s of minutes) of printing the stuck detection reported stuck filament. I replaced the nozzle with a new one and no problem since then.
If I disabled the stuck detection, the filament stuck anyway and the extruder gear started skipping so no filament was extruded...

Seems to be very unreliable for me, so I've just disabled it. Had it happen quite randomly, quite a lot, and haven't had a single problem since disabling it completely.

I have these stuck issues so often, that almost all prints are affected. As a result cannot print almost anything for couple of months already.
I have tried all the mentioned solutions, read everything on the internet, tried cold pulls, cleaning fillament, tighten the idler, soften the idler, print with filament going directly into extruder (no ptfe tube), higher temp, lower temp, higher flow, lower flow .... no success and therefore no idea to make it working again.
After some time (from couple of mins until couple of hours) the print simply stops as the filament stops flowing.
What almost always helps is to push the filament into the idler (force by hand), so the filament starts to flow again (but is too late as usually some layers already missing)... (ASA, PLA, ABS, PETG, almost no difference).
The problem is happening on all heads, not just a specific one ... it is also difficult to resolve anything with support as they ask me to try an idea and provide result ... which, providing result with such issue however requires long time, so I need to disconnect and then wait another 45 mins until an agent is available.
I am already very disappointed with the printer and printing just rarely, small items and always under supervision only.
Any idea I can try please ?

I have contacted support again and just recommended me to replace the following parts as they can be bent due to usage of enclosure. My temp inside of enclosure never exceeded 55C, will however give it a try.:
Belt Clamp (ID 13360) - 2 pieces needed per printer Idler Lever A (ID 13348) - 1 piece needed per tool Idler Lever B (ID 13351) - 1 piece needed per tool Idler Swivel (ID 13357) - 2 pieces needed per tool Idler Nut (ID 13354) - 1 piece needed per tool.

I made all the upgrades provided by Prusa as part of the enclosure installation and still had issues with stuck filament errors after upgrading to firmware version 6.0.3. Only after re-flashing back to firmware version 6.0.1 did I get trouble-free prints (in my case PETG from California Filaments).

These parts have to be replaced anyway when fitting the enclosure. I did anyway and I still have the problems. So it has nothing to do with it.

Could we please keep the thread on topic? Basically if you have general clogging/printing problems, you're wrong here and will probably find better answers in other threads (many of these issues seem to be non-Prusa-enclosure related).
If you can print just fine, but it jams randomly as soon as you enable stuck filament detection, then you have the issue described here. Like this:

I have downgraded to 6.0.1 couple of months ago and still using this version, also printed with the function on/off, seems to me no change. Now have ordered recommended parts (will see).
After many tries I have already no idea how to make the printer working; non of the tool heads is printing correctly. Will try any recommendations you suggest.

There are other threads in the forum where people were using third-party or selfmade enclosures and have developed these issues. The idler levers are known to soften under mechanical load when they get warm, and then you lose pressure and the filament gets stuck. Once it happened the parts don't recover. The only solution right now seems to be to replace them with PCCF or similar material parts. It's not related to the load cell or stuck filament detection, although the sensor might possibly trigger when it clogs. Newer printers come with these parts by default.
My recommendation is to ask a friend to reprint the parts for you, replace them and keep your enclosure fully open for the time being. Then at least you're printing until you can get PCCF replacements.

Stuck filament detection causing filament to get stuck? ... It seems to me that no.
This is my story (MK4):
I printed nearly year quite often without any problem , regularly upgraded FM. When I got FM 6.0.2 or 6.0.3 suddenly filament during printing got stuck, I didn't notice it because I have never experienced this problem so far (regularly printed large model over nights). When I realised that my printed part is useless I started to evaluate where is a problem. Because I thought that it is filament problem I switched on "stuck detection", from that time in every print it detected filament stuck several times. It was crazy, even when I refilled the filament there were problems with layers. Not perfectly fitted, visually not nice. So after reading this discussion I re-flashed back to 6.0.1. It was some month ago, ...since than I have no problem with printing (I have already some kilos printed, several hours one print).
This brings me logically to conclusion, that it is not problem of mechanical parts or filament detection. Maybe I'm wrong but it works for me so far. It is also wrong not to upgrade FM in near future, but what we should do?

And again. If you have an original enclosure from Prusa, you automatically have the PCCF parts. The replacement is even part of the rebuild. I have everything on all extruders made of PCCF, even more sls Prusa demands. I still have stuck filament when the housing is open and the ambient temperature is low. And sometimes 10-20 times a 7-hour print.

I can print whatever I want perfectly, on all my 5 extruders, various filaments, speeds & profiles. I had only a single clog since I got the printer, which was my own fault (wrong temperature for filament & heat creep). Using Firmwares 6.0.0 to 6.0.4. I assure you there is absolutely nothing wrong physically with my printer.
As soon as I switch on the stuck filament detection, it triggers randomly and after that the nozzle is stuck. I can literally run a print just fine, then switch on the detection, reprint the exact same gcode and it will trigger. Then I have to heat it up further and do an atomic pull or push some filament through, it feels as if some melted filament traveled a bit into the cold zone and solidified there. I'm guessing these are false alarms and then when it goes to pause it does a too fast or too long retraction, which pulls molten filament too far up. So they would need to get rid of the false positives and fix the parking moves.
I have to say I can't be bothered too much, so I have only tried this on two tools and only with PLA (but several brands). I haven't tried it yet under 6.0.4. I'll wait for the next release before I try again, if they keep their intervals it should come soon. It would be a nice feature if it did work as intended, but if it's not realiable there's no point. In the very least it should not cause a jam.

I think most if the stuck filament issues mentioned in this thread involve PETG and firmware after V6.0.1. Some have even stated they don't have stuck filament issues with PLA.

Turns out updating to Firmware 6.1.2 reactivated the feature. So I could involuntarily test it again, of course it glitched and killed my print 5 hours in. Same symptoms, with PLA. I thought I could salvage it because this time I could unload/reload, but it just clogged completely ten minutes later. Coincidentally, I had run the same print directly before with the previous firmware and detection off. Same filament, no issues. I haven't had a single clog in months.
This time I took out the nozzle, and there was indeed filament coating the upper part of the nozzle. Basically up to the top end, way above the heat break. I pushed out most of it with a needle while heatgunning it, there was a lot more stuck right above the heat break.
I've never seen this in any other context on this machine. I'm using standard profiles (except most temps I use are lower), so almost no retractions. I never had any heat creep issues.
I don't know how open the firmware is and whether this is actually possible, but could someone knowledgeable maybe find the gcode it runs after it detects stuck filament? I still think it quickly pulls out the filament too far, and causes it to get stuck above the heat break.

Update: The stuck filament detection was working correctly this time. I measured the filament and found the whole second half of the spool had some thicker sections (1.9mm) that would probably cause more resistance or clogging. I reactivated the feature, put in another spool and have been printing 24h with no issues. The clog in the upper section of the nozzle after stuck filament detection was real though.

I've been having success printing PETG after re-flashing back to firmware 6.0.1 until recently. Previously I had flashed to firmware 6.0.3 after Prusa Enclosure installation but it resulted in many stuck filament errors.
I am now getting only one stuck filament error in the same spot on every print of multiple different two-color parts. The error always occurs just as the first tool has finished the first layer and executes the first wipe pass in the wipe tower area. On the printer, this wipe pass has a 20-30 mm gap in it as the stuck filament error is detected.
Below is a screen shot of the g-code in PrusaSlicer 2.8.0 stopped at the point where the stuck filament error occurs every time (between lines 10986 and 10989).
I'm not a G-Code expert by any means but I wonder if making the width 1mm (comment on line 10985) is too much flow for the 0.4mm nozzle or if the G1 F12538 is too fast. Either way, I have no idea how to correct it. Any help is appreciated.
